the game has ebbs and flows, a ton of players looked amazing when the sticky stuff was going on now everyone has to recalibrate and learn to pitch like they did for 30+ years prior to the sticky stuff. cole has explicitly stated his arm hurts significantly more attempting to pitch the same way he was. you also had 50+ years of "older" pitchers relying on the knuckleball to extend their careers. right now in the league, there are like 3 pitchers who use it regularly. the game has changed, maybe not for the better

I hate to slight Stanton, but with two outs & his run being the tie, he stood there in the batters box watching the ball sale.
