Yes, please "dig in" on diet ! I look for your videos everyday. I'm thinking of doing the transformation challenge in February. I have been training off and on all of my life. I'm in a gym that includes nutrition as an important element of fitness but does not help me "nail" the diet. I liked your video on macros. My ideal weight is 180. Based on your video, I now do 20-25% fat (40 grams and 360 calories); 180 grams of protein (720 calories) and 720 calories of carbs (veggies and fruits). Thank you so much!

Hey Paul, I found you through a video you did about how to get shredded a couple of months ago. You said something about there being no excuse to not track calories and to just use an app and that really resonated with me. I started tracking October 2, 2024 using the info from your video, as of today I’m down 30 lbs. I barely lost any muscle or strength too. I still have about 15-20 pounds to go but using your info there’s no doubt in my mind I’m going to get there. You and your channel are truly gems. Thank you 🙏

Since putting effort into walking outside everyday the waist stays small and tight, its a beautiful habbit. Even while lifting 7days on a high fat/protein moderate carb diet I don't get tired throughout the day (why I put it off for so long initially). Sleep is deep for 8hrs when I used to sleep for 4-6hrs + 30min nap daily. Watching your content made me want to get out and walk and I appreciate you for that 🤝

stubborn belly fat can also be a sign of insulin resistance and diabetes. Monitoring blood sugar while also increasing cardio has been a huge help to me in finally getting a tittle momentum on the fat loss. I did not realize how pre-diabetic I was and all the carbs were a huge factor that I never knew was even an issue.

Always appreciate the videos, Paul. Right now with a bad knee, the elliptical hurts less than anything else. I've been mixing it with some inclined treadmill (inclined hurts my knee less than flat). I've built up to 45 minutes and seeing some results. Over the last two yers, I have dropped from 265 to 217. Hoping to accelerate the weight loss and get to 190 lbs. in June.

Walking is the key secret for losing belly fat. Walking at steady pace, walking slow or walking with incline...anything including walking works. I've compared periods of time when I walked vs when I ran, and the belly fat started to melt only with walking

For me calories just..don't work.. I need to be in ketosis to see results . Just cut curbs to see results.All your advises + ketosis. I done gym cardio counting calories...Newer work.Only when i started keto diet i got proper shredded
@Shadowjct
@Shadowjct 20 күн бұрын
Will all due respect, what you said is just impossible, there's no such a thing as "calories don't work", what probably happens is one or a combination of those two things: 1) The estimation of your maintenance calories is wrong. (So you think you are in a caloric deficit but you are actually not.) 2) You made some errors while counting calories. So, if you know how many calories you need to keep your weight stable and you are certain that you are eating less than that, you will lose weight. What usually makes group restriction diets such as keto or paleo work better for some is that they end up not being able to overeat because of the fewer food choices that they have and end up, naturally, eating fewer calories.
@LucyFre
@LucyFre 20 күн бұрын
@Shadowjct believe me . I was doing it religiously. Counting calories , sleep, cardio,workout . Didn't work. ( possibly insuline resistance?) . Keto did First time got shredded. It's not calories restrictions, its cutting carbs removing insuline. Right proportions 80 - 85 % fat and 15- 20 percent protein. Carbs? None or just traces.Give you example " dirty " ketosis. I was eating every single day 500g jar almond smooth butter. Count please how mutch calories it is ? 500× 9 = 4500cal a day. With little cardio and bite gym ( without exhaustion ) I was loosing weight fat water..Everything! Full six packs popping out.! I was always struggling with lower abs. Now I see veins popping out in v- shape on my groins. ( I'm saying it's for everyone. Just works for me )

Hey Paul, love the content, direct and to the point. Could you do a video on how long you can be in caloric deficit before a diet break if 35+% body fat. I always hear 12 weeks but I don’t want to stop if I have good momentum and not feeling tired especially so overweight. 6’4 300 Pounds about 35% body fat want to get 220 lbs. 195P 250C 80F 2500 Calories. Hour Treadmill Walking, 3 Days 60 Min Weight Training, 10,000 steps (treadmill included) Feeling Great down 6 Pounds in 2 weeks. Going for 2 weeks now want to go 6 months with no breaks if this is ok and not feeling fatigued. Before taking a diet break, as long as this doesn’t hamper my progress.
