Wow...I REALLY needed to hear this!! I constantly find myself questioning if I am good at this. Every time I give a card to someone, they love it! So why isn’t it registering in my brain? I need to believe in me more. I need to know it. And you’ve ignited it for me!
@inkhillrevival2893 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! We see the evidence of whatever we’re thinking. Think “I’m not good enough” and that’s what you see. And further we even dismiss the opposite of what we think, the evidence of being good enough, like your friends and family loving your creations. You can totally generate that belief in yourself right where you’re at. Added bonus you already have people that believe in you! 💕

I loved hearing part of your creative story. I can relate so much to this. When I first started card making I wasn't able to buy much. Only what I could find in the $ bin at Michaels and Big lots. I always tried to stay positive and make what I could from what I had. But it was still so hard. I really wish that you were around on KZbin 12 years ago lol!! You are here now and I am so inspired by your videos. Keep them coming.
@inkhillrevival2893 жыл бұрын
Aw thanks so much, Tiffany!! Totally, it’s hard because we try to think positive, but we work at it from a negative place a lot of the time. Like in this case thinking less is not as good as more, and we’ll just have to make due. But that’s a story, not fact. We could totally come up with times and reasons when less is actually better than more. So it’s all about getting to that place where certain things aren’t better than other things and what we have is exactly what we need to feel the way we want!

Loved crafting when I was young, but got distracted & walked away from it. 40 yrs later I let myself get back to it & now I'm making cards. Sometimes struggle with, "where would I be if..." & feeling like I'll never catch up. But then I sit down to the craft table & all of that goes away & I remember why I enjoy crafting. Love your channel ! Very unique. Thanks for the encouragement 🤗
@inkhillrevival2893 жыл бұрын
Hi Carolyn! I love that sitting down and just making clears out the negative thoughts! And truly we never know how it would’ve played out. It’s so interesting our brains like to assume we missed out on only good things. Maybe you kept making for 10 more years back then. But you got burnt out because it wasn’t the right time and never turned back to making again. By stopping 40 years ago and starting now, everything’s playing out exactly as it should. That’s what I like to believe because it makes life better now.
