I think it is more important to actually send cards to people when you are thinking about them and not out of compulsion because it is their birthday. That is what I do, I don't celebrate birthdays at all. Sorry for your busy and stressful summer, glad to have you back though, I do like your videos and card making that I can actually do.

I don't really make cards, I usually just buy them and decorate them... Last year I chose some wonderful cards for Thanksgiving but forgot to send them until after thanksgiving and decided not to send them. Today going through my stuff i find those cards still not sent and tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I had all those negative thoughts you mentioned and decided I should just throw them out I won't ever remember to use them, why do i always do this.... And then I remembered this video... And I thought about my relatives who the cards are intended for... And how they would enjoy mail from me... And how mabel would enjoy decorating them with me. Thank you Kerry! Oh that looks lovely! And so glad I've seen you do that, I've been wanting to do Fuzzy Felt (did you get them whenyou were little or maybe you're not old enough), but the Fuzzy Felt boards were a light blue flock, which I haven't found yet, but I will definitely try some felt on felt now. I only get the cheap one, as I don't use wool, so glad of that. Good luck with your new venture ❤

Oh my goodness YES! And to do it, you most definitely want to work from a different emotion than guilt. What feeling would motivate you to write in that card and get it sent? Excitement, love, concern, silliness? What’s a thought you believe about your card recipient that would generate that particular feeling. “She would be so surprised and happy to find this in her mailbox!” or “I’d never miss sending this to my sweet friend, no matter when it goes in the mail” or “I bet she could use an uplifting boost right now” or “A post-birthday card means more time celebrating.”
