Care Bears PVC Poseable Figures 1980's

I’ve still got the original poseable bears from my childhood. Care-A-Lot, the rainbow roller, and cloud mobile. As an adult I bought the cloud keeper and cold heart. I never got into any of the newer bears past grandma and hugs & tugs. I never cared about the cousins either. So all I have are the ones featured on the rainbow part of the Care-A-Lot playset. I never knew of Champ or Share Bear till I was 30 something years old.

When I was a kid, I had one or two poseables, I think Cheer Bear and Good Luck Bear, but it's very hazy now. I definitely had the cloud car with the large colored ring like wheel. My wife has a custom made Wish Bear themed candle with a poseable Wish Bear, but I think the figure is a newer Chinese knockoff. I doesn't have the realistic hair tuft that the originals had. Lol

The colored ring like wheel is called the rainbow roller which is different then the cloud car. The rainbow roller is the one I'm missing. Thanks for sharing. 😊

This is a good video but i have to clear up a few things about these poseable care bears . the first 10 bears where released in 1983 , then in 1984 baby hugs and tugs and gramps were released alongside the cloud keeper and professor cold heart those two figures being the first released with accessories , then in 1985 when the line was starting to lower in sales kenner released champ bear and share bear and the care bear cousins and then re-released all the bear with accessories and new packaging to try to boost sales . this is why there are two types of boxes for the bears . the single boxes are 1983 and 1984 releases while any bears or cousins with accessories are 1985 usa releases.. the line was discontinued in early 1986 and these figure where not seen in stores by late 1986 to early 1987 hope that history clears up a few things for future viewers

The release year is in the video with each bear. But they were released from 1983-1986.
