Thanks! I myself always hold onto the remote, but I always put the remote under water so as to break the Bluetooth connection as soon as possible. When water intruded into my remote the throttle actually did not release until the remote was under water. I was lucky that it was only on level 6 as it went 100'.

Yikes. eFoils need more than just Bluetooth shutoff, and many of them do now. For example, a few brands also use angle. If the board is tilted more than 70⁰ (or maybe it was 75 or 8) the motor will shut off. Some actually even have a magnetic ankle lanyard, but even those and all safety cutoff methods require a rider to let go of the trigger as soon as possible. It will take a moment for the lanyard to pull a magnet... Longer than what it takes for a rider to release the trigger when they know they're falling.

I'll even buy another, but they seemed to have completely folded up the tent, and are gone, you would think they'd have some stock left.

The reason there are no remotes or batteries left to be purchased is because those are the two components that were claimed and replaced most with or without warranty. Software bugs claimed remotes and batteries. Breaking wrist lanyards claimed even more remotes. Decks and wings very rarely broke and required claims.

I lost my mind and updated my remote, and now it doesn't work,is there any fix I can do?

Sorry to hear about that. I don't believe a fix has been found yet. But we have some talented and knowledgeable people in the FB group that are working on the tech side of things to hopefully find a solution. Maybe recovery mode in the app may work... But again I'm not sure if there has been reliable success
