Yes agree with ur title of ur video on caring less about what ppl think about our climbing or the need to always perform in front of others esp if u r known to climb a certain grade n suddenly fall on a lower one. I know Katz was just joking on not being a “climber “to lessen one’s pressure but I kinda think deep down that’s more out of a fear of not stating one’s goal in order to not fail. Maybe I’m reading too deep into it but i just felt it’s like when you don’t want to say what u r truly going for bc u r scared of jinxing it or that if u don’t acknowledge it ,then it doesn’t matter if u succeed or fail at it lol. I guess it’s more bc I do that but I want to get out of that comfort zone and push myself to be a “climber”and go for my own goals n not need to compare it to others ie gym crushers. I will work hard n be ok with the outcomes. I’m not trying to bash on Katz since he is super strong n is working on his weakness ie pull ups.

I think kaz has part of the idea right. Definitely shouldn’t be stressing yourself if you want to let go, but also I think you can be a climber and just have fun no matter if you send or not.
