I am currently doing my bachelors degree in Biomedical Science and I am interested in becoming a genetic counselor .My question to you is ,how can someone from a foreign country become a genetic couslelor in your country , your advice would really mean alot to me . Hi again, it appears all applicants must complete the prerequisites that each program requires. www.gceducation.org has a program directory with links so you can check each programs requirements. All programs for international students require an English proficiency test such as the TOEFL. International students will need to check with each college/university’s International Students Office or equivalent to know about what Visas or documents are necessary as laws can vary by state and country. Basically, this if the only difference for international applicants. Reaching out to some programs you're interested might be helpful for more concrete information!
