It’s stressful, very stressful but it’s not THE most stressful. There are A LOT of backup systems in place to alert pilots to ensure airplanes don’t collide if ATC misses something.

Good point. Not many jobs where if you underperform you not only don't get paid but you have to pay. It's like your boss being able to take $ from your bank account if you underperform.

No. Partly because because they get paid big $. Also if they get fired they can get a huge parachute payment. Also easier for them to get rehired somewhere even if it isn't as CEO.
