Good thing about these sessions is that - you can answer the questions asked by interviewer. But one this which may be for improvement is that in reality there will be lot of follow up questions from interviewer will try to corner you up with not agreeing with you. One thing I would like Sunand Sharma to do is instead of simply agreeing with the answers, he need to corner the person answering questions which normally happens in real time interviews.

I just want to check this with you. The burn down chart shows the work remaining normally for one sprint but can be used for longer periods as we burn down to 0. The burn up chart shows the work completed for either one sprint or a longer period of work completed as we burn up to the total story points with another line showing the scope of work either growing or shrinking over time. By the way she is an excellent scrum master.

Really a 100% honest answer, though you are holding offers, why you are looking for other opportunities.

Thanks Sunand and Priyanka for this wonderful video! Congratulations Priyanka and all the best for your new job. I really liked your answer to the question - With multiple offers in hand, why are you looking for other opportunities? I don't know if this was the most appropriate answer but it was definitely the most honest one. Since you've been with the same organisation for so many years, that answer really makes sense and should be appreciated by the interviewers.

To my understanding so far.. Burn up chart tracks the completed work against total planned work and burn down charts represent the remaining work against completed work … I am always confuse around these 2 😐

Burn down chart tells us number of story points completed in a particular sprint. Burn up chart tells us: how many story points have we delivered in multiple Sprints, based on that future prediction can be done.

Thank you great videos. One thing I want to say is, Priyanka definitely has some good answers and info, but in my opinion she talks a bit too much on some answers, repeats things a lot, and kind of rambles on where interviewer might lose focus. IMO some answers need to be a bit more consolidated.

One Question: If my team is able to function and facilitate all the ceremonies in Scrum masters absence, then Why would we need SM after certain period of time?
@MegaChinkoo
@MegaChinkoo 2 жыл бұрын
Without the guidance of the scrum master, the scrum processes might get diluted gradually over time. Certain anti-patterns might get introduced which would lead to reduction of value and efficiency of the team. A self-organized, independent and high performing team can also become complacent and might think there's nothing more to improve upon. A scrum team without a scrum master can also lead to going through the motions without real understanding or motivation. Also, the team composition might change where the new team members may not be as matured in scrum as the outgoing members. The scrum master would be able to guide those new members to follow scrum framework. These are some of the points I can think of. Hopefully someone can add more points.

How much impact does your past exp as a SM have on cracking an interview. Are people with a 2-3 exp in scrum considered good enough to do the role and given a chance ?

How much salary can we expect having a scrum experience 1.5 year ?
@CareersTalk
@CareersTalk Жыл бұрын
Depends on organization, 1.5 as whole experience? Or as SM ? SO you might have 12 years of total it experience but as SM only 1.5 years , in this case it will be more

what are the range of packages offered to people with 6-8 years exp as scrum master or agile coach ?
@CareersTalk
@CareersTalk Жыл бұрын
It's depends on company to company, also when you say 6 ,you mean as scrum master experience or overall IT EXPERIENCE, so person can have 15 years of total experience but as scrum master 5 years. You can expect Ideally its 1.5 or 2 × years of experience, so 15 years of experience at least you should have 22 lakh, below that is under paid.. any thing above is good 👍
