Dearest Pink, I am a mentally and physically disabled 56 year old woman. I will only get worse as I grow older. My treasured husband who is 59, goes to work every single day and then he has to take care of me, our two cats, which are brothers, and does all the housework and all our errands. Now because I’m disabled I truly don’t do go anywhere except to my doctors and my hubby takes time out of work to drive me to all my appointments. I used to go to concerts and bars and dance my heart out but now it’s difficult to walk without a cane, walker or my husband’s arm. However when I met my hubby he was a blues man and a heavy metal head. So I started to get him to listen to pop/rock music and this I swear on my God above, he loved you from the first song I ever played him. We watch your videos and when he goes to work, I watch a lot of your interviews etc. Now we decided together that if you came to Alberta, Canada we would do anything to get tickets and I tried for hours to do just that. Since we live paycheck to paycheck we don’t have monies to get updated cellphones or iPads. Because the websites are so advanced... I couldn’t get into the apps to download on my iPad mini 4. I tried on two other cell phones but in the end we couldn’t get tickets. We both have had an extremely bad year. My husband’s mother, 92, is currently in hospital because she has severe dementia and broke her leg twice and now she can’t walk at all. Plus there have been issues with my 2 sons involving alcohol and drugs. I suppose I just wanted you to know that us hippies are not going to be there in Edmonton, Alberta next August. I was more than willing to go through all the physical pain to see you. My husband is really disappointed too believe that. I just think everyone is so into technology and people are forgetting that it doesn’t work for us little people. The last time I went to a concert you could still buy tickets on the phone or go to a ticket store. You definitely can’t actually speak to someone on the phone anymore. Well I guess I’ve rambled on and the odds of a reply are 1 in a million. Just please know that we will remain huge fans and that I actually have prayed for you and your family.
