Thank you pastor Rick for saying... let the "grief out" I'm grieving of my cousin's death for the last 5 month. The pain seems newer every day so far... he was only 17 years old when he died playing basketball in his backyard with his friends!! Just so hard to accept the tragedy to all his family, mostly his mom & dad are the one who are heart broken in to pecies beyond words can describe. I doubted if they can be normal again to go forward with their lives!! But, I believe God's grace & your prayers might let ease their excruciating pains & grieves!! Loved the interview & helpful to all of us who are grieving

That was SO meaningful and powerful! Thank you Carey and David for hosting, and Pastor Rick for sharing. The video is perhaps mis-titled.....if you are dealing with loss, you will be greatly blessed by the last very 30 minutes as Rick and David share about their loss. I was very moved by that. But the first hour could have been more accurately titled "Pandemic Leadership Lessons" with tons of hard-won front line lessons shared by Pastor Rick that I wish every pastor in America could hear - so inspiring, so practical, so hopeful and helpful.

I love Rick and Kay Warren’s transparency about how they were able to emotionally navigate their son’s passing. His daily emails helped me walk through the passing of my 2 adult sons, about 2 years apart. I believe his pure heart, humility and generosity is why God could entrust Rick Warren with his gifts, talents, abilities, and multiplied thousands of congregants. How many pastors do you know that wrote a bestseller (Purpose Driven Life), and paid his church back, every red cent he had ever been paid in salary? Man looks at the outward appearance, God looks at the heart.

This is the first time I’ve actually disagreed with Pastor Rick. I believe that to remain a Christian nation we need Christian leadership. Forefathers would be rolling over in their graves if they saw what we did to this nation. We were truly made to be one nation under God and I believe God put this nation together as he used a forefathers to stand strong

I like Rick Warren, and I do think he's right that laws don't change hearts. And many people have actually gotten their identity in politics. But if we think Wilberforce did something good, that would seem to indicate that much good has been done by passing laws.

We are NOT a racist country even thought there are always going to be racism. Media perpetuates this day in and out and that's not healthy for a nation. We need to unite as a christians and stop this lie from growing more and more. I'm not an American but I need you all to know this is the only country in the world that anyone would have the opportunity to live a truly prosperous life because we all choose how we want to conduct our lives. This is important for the church to remember. It's every church's responsibility to make people understand that even though this is not a perfect country, this is the best we got. Stop hating America and show it for what it is. You'll never be able to make all people not be racist. Believe me when I say this is the LEAST racist country in the world. Media tells us otherwise everyday and as Christians we have to give another message. Tell the truth and truth will set you free. You keep saying this is a racist country then you'll make racism way worse. We need to love one another. If Martin Luther King was alive today he would be cancelled because his message was way different than the message we're hearing today. This needs to change and we Christians have to come together if we want to change the world.

Fire Prompts Worship: “All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You. ... He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men. ... Oh, bless our God, you peoples. ... For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined [purified-EXB] us as silver is refined. ... We went through fire and through water.” (Ps 66:4-12) All the earth (everyone) will worship and sing praises to God because no one is excluded from His purifying fire. Note the word "For" which links worship and praises with His refining fire. But you might be thinking, “How can we know this includes ‘hell-fire [Gehenna fire]?” Anyone want me to continue, reply...

Views on racism aren't up to the snuff. Shouldn't be so quick to claim things are done in the name of racism. So many other factors are at play. I doubt that if he was face to face with the other people in these stories from people in his congregation he wouldn't be so quick to label them a racist.
