Don’t need it. Just put a wrench on it against the floor and start the engine

He used an electric impact wrench, a guy in another video was able to get it off with just an electric impact wrench.

what were you cranking right before turning on the engine? and why?
@rainman42o3 ай бұрын
Crank pully, to make the engine turn over. If the timing was off, you'd rather find out this way.
@casanova96472 ай бұрын
@@rainman42oand by turning the engine by hand, if the timing was off what would happen? You won’t be able to turn it by hand anymore?
@MoBLuBSiAb4LiFe16 күн бұрын
@casanova9647 of course you can still turn it even if it jump tooth. But atleast you'll feel it jumping tooth and retime it again before you even crank the engine on. Its just to be safe than sorry

17:38 mark when you went to put tension on the long side of the belt it looks like you skipped a tooth? Watched it 10x

I have a 92 eg6 and my crank pulley bolt seems rly stuck, any tips?
@dudemann30688 ай бұрын
Yes get a 17mm or 19mm Crank socket, it is much thicker than a regular socket and will take it off easy
