Great video! I have no electrical background/ knowledge. Is this an electrical project I could learn over a couple of months, or would it be more efficient to hire someone? Thanks in advance

I would suggest a lot of youtubeaversity :) There is a lot of good videos on electrical.

Great Work. I will be doing there same thing very soon. How do I get details of the v-nose cabinets?
@MSMAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! For the v-nose it's just a 2x2 frame with 1/2" maple plywood fronts. I got the butcher block from Menards.

@@MSMAdventures thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I was wondering if there was a particular plan that you used for the electrical work.
@MSMAdventures3 жыл бұрын
No particular plan. Just a lot of KZbin - a - versity lol. I layed out all the electrical before building the cabinets. I wanted to make sure everything worked out the way I thought it would.

Your work looks really, really good! Thanks for posting. I look forward to watching your build. How is the fuel line for the diesel heater routed? ... I could not tell from the video.
@MSMAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! The diesel heater line is run from the tank through the floor and under the trailer forward to the heater. The fuel line, air intake and exhaust all go down through the floor and outside.

Is the V-nose insulated between the framing studs as well? Can the heater on Low bring the temp above 55 if needed?
@MSMAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply I thought I had responded but don't know what happened to it. It is fully insulated. The heater will warm it up and keep it warm on low. I usually turn it on high for an hour then down to low.

Question: is it safe to say your plan is to have the diesel fuel in that location there? If so my initial thought was (fuel + living space = not good). But then I remembered diesel isn't flammable like gasoline. Butttt then I was like, wait... where did I hear that and how can that be if it's a fuel. So after a couple of google's-ing around, I see the flashpoint is 125Degrees... I don't think that's a good idea to keep inside then. I know cars can easily get to 160+ interior temp. (this could all be for nothing, maybe that location isn't your plan).
@MSMAdventures3 жыл бұрын
It's still up in the air. From the initial research that I did it's seems most people do have the fuel tank inside either a campervan or a trailer without issues. It is easy to relocate if I decide to change it though. Thanks for the info!
@garylantz33223 жыл бұрын
@@MSMAdventures Yeah I do see mixed reviews of other people's location of interior vs exterior storage. Well at least its near a door if it needs to be ejected lol
