Great job Kevin. I would suggest putting a bungee around the step though. If your roads are anything like Louisiana roads. My travel trailer steps bounce out and can be in the other lane. You won’t have that problem but might hit something if it is the step is low. Thanks for the video

Yeah, if the grand-babies go with, a 14 inch step may be a bit much. Great addition.

You might want to consider a set without the holes on the step. If you have a dog their toe nails can get caught up in the hole and cause major damage to the paw.
@Robinson-Homestead6 жыл бұрын
That's good to know thank you.

cdLady54 Marengo I glued indoor/outdoor carpet to my black metal step cause the sun heats that metal up to about 250 degrees (maybe less) and a bare foot on it just once and you're looking for a solution. I think a dog's nails would be just fine, as well. My "Buster" hasn't complained even once.

"One step at a time." If you ever get tired of fabricating, you can always try standup. I have a Stromberg-Carlson step like that to put on my cargo. Now I will have to pull it out of the box and measure it. It is supposed to be a 2 1/2" drop. We'll see.

Check out duppler dave latest youtube video, he had to paint his outside water inlets and other PVC components they started turning yellow on him and got brittle. Also he had to change out tires due to poor chinese brand and updated them to very high load copacity and also insurance for his cargo camper. Very good video for builders.
