I wanted to find a good rooftop crossbar system to carry my canoe. So, I picked this CargoLoc set up. It was very easy to install as you will or have seen. Hope this video helps.

Why is it too long?

I believe they wanted to leave enough room (width) to fit any size canoe or kayak. Do you have one or are you planning buying one?
