Correction before anyone points it out: The new I6 engine is a single turbo, not twin. Only the E53 gets a second turbo, and it's electric as described in the video.

For me, those cars are only for a very short vacation rental once in a blue moon. I get scared approaching them. Any scratch, small issue can make me go bankrupt and turn my life into misery. Toyota is a safe haven for people like me.

E53 did not start nowhere near 53k at base price . Idk where you get that number from . 2021 base price was about 75k. Now in 2023 base price is about 83k.

Seems to me that, MB has decided that the E class is now the only sporty sedan (standard wheelbase) being delivered/sold in the states anymore! Don't even think about buying the S class in standard wheelbase! Nope...Nada...Not gonna happen! You want any standard wheelbase S class? Ya better pay up them! MB decided that the U.S. gets the mini limo length to appease the Chinese auto market! Evidently we in the states just need a chauffeur in order to appeal important rather than the driver simply enjoying their hard earned work week or weekend drives. Nope, Mercedes Benz decided to blow off the U.S. car buyers in order to ass kiss the Chinese car buyers! Having said that, I do love the E450/E53 to be honest. The E class is now the "drivers" car from MB, sadly the new S class no longer applies.

Look around- no body wants an eclass, I don't even know why they are making it.. But yeah keep affording that, show us haha

@SmartCarOwner2010 I own the car sweet heart and it is a good car and many people want it if they could afford it. It is luxury and sport and a beautiful car inside and out. No sweet heart parts are not falling off. I plan to get another E53 AMG in a few years. You sound jealous that you don't own one.
