Got one in January. Really great car. As someone with 3 kids, the 3 full seats in the middle are an absolute game changer. Loads of room to get them in and out and they're comfortable on long journeys but still loads of space in the boot for all their stuff!

@LucyLucy-2 жыл бұрын
@@amber1001 As the back row (seats 6 & 7) are entirely removable, you can also use the space where the seats would fold into for additional storage, if that helps. I don’t have children, and I don’t know how big your car seat is, but I’m a wheelchair user so space in vehicles is a huge necessity for me. I think you’d manage quite well to be honest, there is quite a good amount of space in the middle row (seats 3, 4 & 5). You can slide the middle row of seats back for additional room also. The dealership I visited were really helpful, letting us put our wheelchairs in. I’m sure they’d let you test your car seat in it too.

French cars have always been more stylish than its German counterparts, if not a little too quirky at times. Seems like they are becoming a bit more mainstream while being distinctive... which deserves praise and recognition. (Love the 'ta-da' commentary, by the way.) I still don't understand why most manufacturers never even attempt to design the B-pillar moldings to complement or blend into the door panels. Seems a little lazy to me since it might make the interiors of some of these (mid-level) cars seem more finished and refined.

Long overdue for Peugeot to be in the US! Growing up I was completely in love with the 504 (in the late 60s to early 80s). Being in California, I still see one once in a while. But watching the brand evolve over the years and seeing product like this ... it's frustrating! Maybe sometime soon? Thanks for another great review, Rebecca.

Another superb review. I have one since 2020, superb car. 1.5 diesel fast enough, 55 - 60 mpg (rural dwellers we are, it does 40 in town), comfy suspension, nice handling for a big car, stunning interior design and quality, small steering wheel works and feels lush in GT Line spec, great auto high beam and infotainment, Tom Tom sat nav very effective, big central storage under armrest means you do not need the small glovebox, auto gearbox superb, great ambient lighting at night and digital dash superb. Front seats look lovely, but are firm. Stunning car to look at, and so much more sexier than a Kodiaq. Recommend!

I find the weight of this car intriguing, for such a big vehicle. Starting from 1320 kg for lightest petrol version, that is hatchback territory. The large Skoda Superb in its small petrol engine versions is very light too. Maybe this is the way to go, until the electric power issue is resolved, since electric vehicles presently can be much heavier than large vans.
@JamesPickett19773 жыл бұрын
Totally agree - I read that it weighs some 200KG less than rivals like the Skoda Kodiaq which should translate to cheaper running costs and lower emissions. You certainly don’t feel its size when driving it (apart from quite a nice commanding driving position)

This so beautiful young Lady gave an outstanding review in such a short period. It´s a shame that in Latinamerica, there are not so many versions available and only the 1.5 lt diesel and not the 2.0 liters. I also realized that in Europe the manual versions are still available.

We have had French cars for 15 years and if you service them as told to, they last. Our old 2007 c4 Grand Picasso is now a workhouse, 15 years old, at 160000 miles... yeah we needed to service some big-ticket items at cost, but over 15 years was amazing value. The most unreliable car I ever had was my 2007 BMW - that is dead now. Our 5008 has so far done 21000 miles with no issue in 2 years, but we service at a main dealer ever year - poor maintenance means poor reliability more.

Only 7 seater that's actually was designed to keep the 3rd row safe in a rear impact is the Volvo XC90. This Peugeot just like just like every 7 seater on the market is dangerous in a rear impact for 3rd seat passengers. I would feel highly nervous having my kids so close to the rear tailgate.
@interceptor-ss8kb3 жыл бұрын
@Spiky Falcon there isn't a source as we don't rear crash test cars in Europe which is ridiculous, Volvo are the only brand which extensively rear crash tested third XC90 to prove it safe. I've seen a VW Tiguan allspace that was involved in a rear impact on the motorway just luck no body was in the 3rd row seats as it was so badly crushed in and thats very similar size to the Peugeot again the rear 3rd row is within inches of the rear tailgate. No way would I put my kids in that 3rd row.
