Carib Chief: First Peoples Remains An Ethnic Group In National Census

Celebrations for the First Peoples Heritage Week kicked off on Monday with a Water Ritual in Lopinot.
This year commemorates the 18th anniversary of the day of recognition, and more efforts are being made to sensitise the public on the inclusion of the First Peoples as an Ethnic Group in the National Census.

​@@rachedatindali439 This is in Trinidad and Tobago the group is the kalinago people from the santa rosa area which is located in Arima Trinidad and Tobago. The location they are doing their ceremony is call lopinot which is in Trinidad and Tobago i should know because i am from Trinidad and Tobago and i am of kalinago , african , european ,venezuelan , french creole and east indian descent .
