Excellent video sir ! If I’m flying economy, Caribbean airlines is good enough. But for first class, I would rather pick American.

Too bad the doubles were bad. Kudos to them for offering Caribbean cuisine but they need to pick types of food that can withstand the re heating on an airplane.

I was told that the other meal options fair better when reheated. I just chose the most cliche item for the review. I'm working on a video for the return with the default dinner menu.

I usually fly economy with Caribbean Airlines, so it was very sad to hear that service in Business class wasn't that great. Usually when I fly, I prefer to rest instead of watching movies or I would bring my own book. The only thing I like to look at on the screens is the flight tracking to see where we're flying over and how long to our destination. I agree, nothing beats doubles from a real street vendor in Trinidad.

It would have been nice if they had lie-flat seats, but I guess the environment they operate in does not allow them to economically do so. If they do ever expand to more higher tier markets, maybe it could be a thing if they do a cabin refresh. As for doubles, definitely can't beat the streets. Thanks for watching.

Thank you! Only business class, and no, just standard MAX 8 recliner seats unfortunately.

@@gatechecked Thanks for the response. I was born in Trinidad and used to travel twice a year from JFK to Piarco on BWIA standby. Now, that I can finally do business class, there are no luxurious flights to Trinidad. They have them to Aruba, Grenada, and even Barbados but not Trinidad yet. One day. Thanks again and maybe I'll see you in the lounges.

Why would they serve doubles as a business class meal service? Doubles is a cheap street food in T&T. Thats the question to ask.

It's a non-standard option. Their regular menu is eggs/bacon or saltfish buljol. However you can also request any of the economy buy on board meals if you like since it comes as a free option in business. Only decided to try the doubles because I wanted to showcase what the experience was like for anyone wondering if they should get it or not.

American airlines MAX 8 at gate 6 is bound for Miami International Airport MIA 🇺🇸 from POS Trinidad 🇹🇹. You can take American airlines to MIA from POS too you know, you can get more food and nice things on American.

Caribbean airlines food is extremely terrible the wrap they share as lunch or dinner is disgusting .the chicken is raw and. Smells disgusting the wrap is so slimy .I cannot imagine anyone eating this garbage.i didn't even touch it.this airline needs to go over their menu.they really get away with it for a really long time because there was no other.but now they will have lots of competition and will have to take their passengers seriously
