Just enjoyed a week in Scotland via Bute, cold but roads were quiet and great hospitality and weather. PS. Love the route from Lairg across to the Black Isle near Inverness, you can keep John O’Groats. Know your lunch spot, amazing views….

Loving these vids. Those roads are perfect for small bikes. Did the NC500 on my himmy and wouldn’t have rather been on any other bike. It was perfect especially on a the little single track roads.
@Mrfish2015Ай бұрын
I think on a bigger bike I would have missed so much
@AGardenShedАй бұрын
@@Mrfish2015 true you see a lot more. I also find them more engaging to ride especially on those roads. Just little things like keeping momentum for a hill or constantly being up and down through the box whereas on a bigger bike you wouldn’t be out of second / 3rd for most of the day. I only wanted a little more power near glenshee ski resort. That was because I had to roll off in a big hill due to a big bike slowing down infront of me. He then sped up and my poor himmy could barely get to 30 as was fully loaded. Only wanted more power as I felt sorry for the bike.
@hartley383Ай бұрын
Couldn’t agree more with you about the inland roads. Last time we headed up there we stayed in Lairg and did loops out to the coast , rode a bit of the NC500 then rode inland again. Ok sometimes we rode the same road the following day in the other direction to the coast but it was not exactly a hardship. Superb series MR Fish 👍🏻

The NX is perfect for those roads. Sitting on those speeds is the sweet spot on these bikes. Have you fitted a 16T front sprocket?

No , all standard

@Mrfish2015 try the 16T front sprocket. It transforms the bike into an even better bike
