I used to watch your cooking videos with my father all the time before he passed, he always told me you were the one chef on the internet that really knew the culture and how to properly prepare these delicious meals ❤

Like you, I'm not comfortable using a pressure cooker. Question - could this be prepared in a slow cooker? Thanks, Chris.
@joanneny86382 жыл бұрын
I think you can use slow cooker to soften the meat, then transfer to regular pot.

Omitt the salt in the beginning as it slows down the peas from softening faster ... Just saying 🤔👍🏾Great soup ..
@caribbeanpot2 жыл бұрын
no truth to that (according to my testing). BTW< the cow heel takes even longer than the peas to cook yea

Being a farm boy in Jamaica, I could never eat ANY feet, especially cow feet. Cow's walk around in their own feces their whole life.
@pamjaydelite91272 жыл бұрын
You should be more informed now as a big man. Animals have got layers on their feet when the cow is killed for eating those hard layers that they walked on are taken off and its good for consumption. Do your research.
@shortythepresident39132 жыл бұрын
@pamjay Delite it's not only that. I don't eat slimy, fatty things. It just feels weird to me. I don't eat organs either. Too high in cholesterol. Those old school foods are what killed my father.
