Such a fan of your recipies Chris, never been to the Caribbean, not even to a restaurant, but the flavors you introduced me to have been a staple in my kitchen for at least 6 years now! Good thing I bought a quality chicken today!

My wife did most of the cooking for 51 years, using some seasoning, but never enough to my taste. Then 2 years ago, she turned the cooking over to me as her health declined. Now the spice cabinet is 3 times as large, and needs to be replenished frequently. She has many food dislikes, but has been eating what I make, often with the foods that she dislikes. If she can't identify it, she does not know that it is there! But sometimes I still have to make 2 versions of the same dish, so that I can enjoy a spicier version. She now eats Caribbean dishes, MidEastern cuisine, and Asian dishes. Love your channel, am a subscriber.

I tried it minus the split peas, bonnet pepper and not as much coconut milk since my family doesn't like coconut, spice or splitpeas. This recipe is bussing!!!! Everything else made it popping!!! I also used better than bouillon seasoning. That green seasoning took it up a notch! Magnificent Caribbean dish. Belize 🇧🇿 ♥️ ♥️ ♥️

LOVE WATCHING YOU CHRIS! I see you've made a few soup recipes. I have a challenge for you, can you pleeze make a few videos showing us how to convert your recipes to cook in an INSTANT POT?? Many people today are using appliances like the Instant Pot as they don't have a lot of time to cook. Others use them due to getting older and don't want or can no longer spend too much time standing in the kitchen. Pls show us some of your soup and possibly rice recipes cooked in an Instant Pot.
