Hello from Rochester, NY. 😊It was cloudy here, but seeing it get super dark & then light again for the eclipse was still really cool. I watched it from my backyard. What area of NY did you wind up in? I heard the Adirondacks got lotss of traffic for it & even our city's news was hyping up the expected influx of tourists for an entire month leading up to it since we were right in the totality path.

So I'm in Oregon and I have cousins and family in California so we saw it from there and it was pretty great pretty amazing to see I don't think I'll see something like that again in my lifetime

I'm so grateful every spring to whoever planned my South Jersey apartment complex, because they made sure to plant so many different kinds of flowering plants, bushes and trees. We especially have a lot of apple blossoms, as well and both single and double cherry blossoms, and it just lifts my heart anytime I'm walking around outside.

When you were on the window seat, the yoghurt bowl almost made me cry cause the china is really similar to my uncle's, and I've been missing him a lot. But then i saw those cherry trees and heard of the girls cheering on you, and it made me happy to be able to exierence so much in my life, the good and the bad. Whowould havethought a yougurt bowl anotherprson in the intert is eating couldmke one so sentimental. Also, magnolias are one of my favourite trees! I didn't know they were so ancient!

it's so weird that your cherry blossoms came out so late, here in Paris region I think ours bloomed around March 18th, then the big pom-pom ones bloomed around April 6th (and we're more north that you all), and now everything is about finished, which is sad because the weather is FINALLY nice and not cold and gloomy and rainy.
