Hi Cari! The sticky tree thing you picked up looks like the flower of a salix babylonica /Weeping Willow to me. Or as you say the cottonwood/Populus deltoides. Maybe it's either of them! Korea has so many cute little shops! I will need to explore lots of unique and cool shops in Korea if I get the chance to visit Korea in the future. I wish the city I live in had some interesting cute shops but my city is 10 years behind time and anything new or fun things doesn't last long and ends up becoming a weed store. I don't know when it'll open but are getting a new dollar store in the mall in my city called Miniso (Chinese) and a cafe called Today Cafe (Korean).
