You should do a younger artist and an older artist but have both of them have the same style! Somebody maybe in their teens and somebody maybe in their 40s will merge their different practices and see how even though they have the same "style" of art, they have different ways of presenting and projecting their ideas. I would totally watch that. Great video btw! Loved their result.

I like how unlike the other ones this is actually a blending of their styles, like a halfway point rather than two styles on one painting like the others. Don't get me wrong, the others were really cool, but I feel like this was a more true blend.

Yup! It's a lot better than the Graffiti artist/animal fine artis one.
@leinardesteves39872 жыл бұрын
That's cause caricature can be considered a drafter's craft while the fine artist has mastery over the brush and other fundamentals so the 2 can fuse together well. In comparison with the graffiti and animal painter, those very very different styles of work. One uses sprays, air brushes, and very saturated colors while the other uses traditional brushes and traditional/realistic colors.

Apparently, illustration(such as comics and caricutures) isnt art.
@ram-ro6wh6 жыл бұрын
This is because art museums are museums. Seeing this more modern style at an art gallery would be more appropriate.
@ram-ro6wh6 жыл бұрын
@@janaekelis Of course they're art. The illustration community is bigger than it has ever been and animation has always been a respected field. These styles get criticised because they rarely fall under the umbrella of conceptual art, which is crazy because illustration isn't conceptual art so that comparison makes no sense.

Audiomack already did that
@abassyomi.o4 жыл бұрын
@@bernardobila4336 I know the series that you're referring to (and it's a really great series), but that's actually a string quintet (which is the smallest possible reduction of the string orchestra). A full orchestra, even in a chamber setting, includes the string orchestra, which in its smallest usual size includes roughly 2 double bassists, 4 cellists, 4 violists, 5 2nd violinists, and 5 1st violinists (give or take maybe one person on each of these sections), on top of at least one flute, clarinet, oboe, and bassoon (the winds), as well as a trumpet, French horn, and tuba, (the brass), and a timpani (the percussion). So then this orchestra, in its smallest general reduction would have somewhere between 25~30 people. I don't mean to sound condescending or anything of the like, but that's actually an important distinction I tried to make by saying "full orchestra."

It's not about trusting yourself, well, partially, but mostly it's understanding and figuring out how to mix those two styles so that they work and not clash... To mix these two, he figured that his strong points are making the form and shapes, which creates the caricature, and her traditional fine art skills are mainly in proportions, light and shadow, shades, basically coloring it correctly, oh, and having that oil paint texture afterwards.
