This has to be one of the most beautiful, haunting, melancholic, resigned, honest, dark, heartbreaking, moody, suffocated, heavy songs I've ever heard. There are so many emotions, it swings from depression to resignation to unreleased tension to anger that claws its way out of her throat through her voice but then never really explodes because she is too depressed to let it out. It really does something to me everytime I listen to it, it's comforting in its pain, like standing in a dark, empty back street at night surrounded by a cold mist but feeling safe belonging to that darkness, I don't know, it's really touching.

i really like AHS hotel (tho i must admit, only watched it in bits), i feel it bought back the atmosphere of original AHS (tho obivously plot is different). My issues is with the OG AHS. THat got dumb. everyone is a ghost, noone dies... the murder house premise was cool but the whole gimp suit thing?? could have been played so much better than it was

I agree and love the show so much. Not to get all negative or anything, but to me this emotion was missing from the third season and that's one of the main reasons I disliked it. The second season had enough fear and spooky horror, that it made up for the lack of emotional sadness like this, in my opinion. I heard this on AHS, the night before my 29 year old cousin died. For some reason it brought out all my emotions for him because he was too young to go and we were like best friends. In a way I saw him leaving because he was in his addiction, he relapsed right before thanksgiving as I new at the thanksgiving by the way he was reacting because I used to use with him. I am nearly 2 years sober and he died on New Years Eve of an overdose. It was hard and still is, definitely a wake up call

Never seen AHS, but did witness Carina’s skills in person at a Puscifer concert in Vancouver BC. I was expecting to see Mila Jovovich on stage and didn’t find out till after the show when I went to get my guitar autographed that I was introduced to Carina. Her performance was amazing, I feel no regret having my fender signed by her and not Mila. 🎸 👌🏼👌🏼
