I adore Carine. She is soft spoken and sweet but smart and strong. Not overbearing with her opinions and not snobbish. Refreshing in the often times pretentious fashion world. Did anyone else spot Kanye and Amber Rose walking out of the show at 5:47? heheee..

She is so adorable... Soft spoken, humble but smart and strong with her job & most of all her family. Perfect combination. I wish my boss looks like her... Hahahahaha... Then, I will be happy everyday :D

In the last phrase she was saying, it seems like she KNEW she was about to leave Vogue Paris.

I did not know that she is such a sweet person, she seemd arrogant to me from pictures. But this documentary showed how sweet she is.

She never looked arrogant in pictures! She's powerful looking

I know you wrote that 10 years ago. I met her last week in person at a gallery, and she is the sweetest person. Like people say here, strong, with a charisma that is hard to beat. She's precise, just, supportive, smart and incredibly nice. She actually listens to people when they talk, even if they are nobodies like i was. This is someone with a life lasting passion that is not there just to be seen, while excelling in every other aspects of her life (socially, family..). I could go on.

such a shame two years later she quit the job (or get fired in the worst case)

I hope she never deals with american vogue, she would have to compromise her beliefs and her visions for the sake of business...theres a reason theres rarely celebs in french vogue, she knows its not their place
@katsmith82633 жыл бұрын
She seems nice, not like Anna Wintour, Anna intimidates people and alienate them. Carine has many friends, Anna not.

I think she definately stays in French Vogue rather than American Vogue, I think French Vogue is more artistic

I don't like American Vogue as well. They keep on featuring boring celebrities. Italian & French Vogue were my faves. I love Grace Coddington as well. & in case she's chosen to replace Anna I will be thrilled. I know that she also didn't like celebrities taking over the fashion world.

but i heard aliona will be next in line to replace anna...the russian EIC's style is closer to anna than carine (magazine styling, i mean)...so if anyone can successfully take over anna, it may be aliona...

lol did she say, patrick has no passion anymore, so she does the shoot quickly to wrap it up?
@helloadios1215 жыл бұрын
I just can't wait for Anna to retire. American Vogue is starting to suck and they need someone like Carine. It's sad that she won't take the job but French Vogue would not be the same with out her.

i know right..i dont think the american readers can appreciate her 'chic'ness...americans love glamour.

Son accent anglais est tout simplement horrible. Je ne comprends pas qu'à un tel poste on puisse encore en être à ce stade de l'apprentissage de la langue.
@juliencastle29535 жыл бұрын
Apparemment ça ne l'empêche pas de se faire comprendre par ses collaborateurs de part le monde donc pourquoi est ce que son anglais serait un problème?
