Actors can inspire, entertain, inform, and distract us. Characters and stories are their craft. It's abstract and isn't reality. Their true person is often a mystery. Film stars of the 30s and 40s. Barbara Stanwyk, Ann Dvorak, Constance Bennett, Joan Blondell, Myrna Loy, Jean Harlow, Merle Oberon, Carole Lombard, Loretta Young, Jean Arthur have all passed. Shirley MacLaine is now 90 yrs old. She was born in 1934. Those gals were just a handful of the big screen stars she went for. I really admire Sharon for her get back up attitude. Check out the film work of the Golden Age gals and their real lives. I'm in awe of what their careers meant to that era.

Perhaps she’s grown out of it as most of us do, but I met her Sharon in San Francisco and had been a huge fan because I had heard of her strong sense of self and that she was very smart. However, she arrived with two assistance and proved to be pretty arrogant and self involved. I was stunned because it was clearly her choice to behave that way. She lost me as a fan that day and has never regained my interest in her career, except what I run across here on something like this. I am sure she like most of us have been bounced around my life a bit even if you are famous and she has learned a lot of lessons since that short period of time at Glide foundation in San Francisco.

Sharon Stone is truly a beacon of resilience, and I would love to see her take on a role in a remake of the 1991 film Regarding Henry. She would beautifully embody the essence of the character, particularly in the latter part of the film, where themes of transformation and redemption take center stage. Regarding Henry is a 1991 American drama film directed by Mike Nichols and written by J.J. Abrams. It stars Harrison Ford as a New York City lawyer from a dysfunctional family, who struggles to regain his memory and recover his speech and mobility after he survives a shooting, inadvertently restoring his family's integrity in the process. The supporting cast includes Annette Bening, Mikki Allen, Bill Nunn, Rebecca Miller, Bruce Altman and Elizabeth Wilson. The film received mixed reviews with praise for the cast and Ford's performance but criticism for its perceived sentimentality. The film grossed $88 million at the box office on a production budget of $25 million. Source Wikipedia

Respect for her humanitarian work and personal resilience. At the same time... Oh how eloquently covertly she went on describing 80% of her patriots as uneducated dummies. No matter how it is said, it is still patronizing and condescending. Unnecessary. Did she just want a Madame President, or a qualified and competent Madame President? Surprised by the high price of her paintings? Well, it says more about her fame than the value or quality of her art (art market is just very subjective,)
