You can extend the Dog joke by making the dead animal a parrot and having a Labrador Retriever come out as well and sniff the dead animal and then charging for "Lab Tests"

Ajahn, this was so necessary for me. Your story about the loving kindness working on mechanical things is so true. I took the story you told about the man who befriended a money dispensing machine to heart. I had an adjustable bed which I need to use and it was on its last legs, I began wishing it well and thanking it for doing what I needed it do do while giving it a choice to work or not. It lasted another two years for me. This story of yours reminded me to make a friend of my new replacement bed. Love your dharma talks. Sadhu. Sadhu. Sadhu. 🙏🙏🙏

Dear Ajahn Brahm. I refer to the six types of sentience you mentioned on Vesak in the story about the guy who thought he wanted to be reborn as a dog, until he learned they get fixed. Again much love to all from Flint Michigan. Usa.

It is the duty of all fathers to tell their children bad jokes; frankly , if your father didnt tell bad jokes whilst your were a child, he wasnt doing his job property!
