I slapped an Orlandoo Hunter 2S Lipo in mine. 😎 It is extremely quick! I have an HBX Devestator truck body on it right now with Injora 1.0 crawler tires because I am racing it at the 2023 Iowa RC Outlaws Sand Drag event tomorrow in the 1:24 class. It should win very easily. It is not illegal to run it in the category but it is camouflaged to appear like a 1:24 crawler. ; )

The wltoys 400 mah 2s lipos should barely fit in from what I've read, does 22 mph or so on 2s lipo out of the box after enabling the low voltage cutoff.

For $150 oil filled shocks should be stock. I've got one of these things and actually I had to go through three of them in order to get one that functioned properly. And honestly the third one has a glitchy throttle. The communication between the ESC and the receiver is very poor. The three tiny screws that hold the motor mount in place are prone to strip out very easily which ruins your ability to keep proper gear mesh. This is an $80 car at best.. an $80 car that needs $50 in upgrades. Retailers are having such a problem with these things getting sent back that they are now making boxes that say once this is opened it cannot be returned.

interesting info. I agree about the shocks. Abs including a lipo battery from the get go would be nice. I have three Carisma cars and zero issues to this day.

I own 4 carisma 1/24 rc cars and they absolutely outperform the 1/24 wltoys rc car I had in every way including durability. Trust me big difference. I know the bigger wltoys rc cars have improved over the year's , don't get me wrong . Not trashing wltoys .
