Nissan Xterra 2021 Overview
The Nissan X-Terra nameplate made a comeback to the region, with an all-new model coming out in 2021. Under the hood, it now gets 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine, mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. The base SE is a two-wheel drive model with hydraulic power steering, power mirrors, power windows, push start engine, fabric seats, auto headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, roof rails, manual A/C, rear A/C, off-road monitor and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Titanium model can be had in two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive. Additional features include LED fog lamps, headlamps leveler, automatic dual-zone A/C, wireless charging and rear USB ports.
The top Platinum model gets leather seats, infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Navigation, power adjusted leather seats and 18-inch machine cut alloy wheels. Standard safety features include driver and passenger airbags, ABS, hill assist, stability and traction control and brake assist.

The new 2022 model is out. The platinum version has been upgraded with new features 1. It has upgraded dashboard with full leather panel looks very beautiful. 2. Electronic parking brake, 3. drive modes (eco, std, sport, sand) 4. Rear disc brakes 5. Adaptive cruise control 6. wireless charging & UB-C & A charging ports in center for second row 7. Higher & new design center console. Acceleration 0-100 Kph is better than 3.0L V6 Montero sport & Fortuner

I would hope so, im sure its nearly 40k. My 2005 xterra is still doing great with minimal maintenance cost. Nice vehicle, but i wish they would have stuck a little more to the "Xterra' concept. This really isn't an Xterra anymore, hence they put an hyphen between the X and Terra. Also , why not put the new 3.5 v6?? Very odd.

@@eminiscalperpro9729 Terra aka X-Terra is more similar to older Pathfinder (R51) in design. Engines used in presented suv are the same as the ones used in D23 Navara pick-up truck. I'm not exactly sure why Nissan won't use 3.5 V6 in this one, but I have some guesses. One is that the car might take away customers who would consider buying Pathfinder. The other is that the engine isn't the proper choice for body on frame mid size suv. After all, Ford put Ecoboost engines in Ranger and Everest instead of using their V6. Which might be not the properly backed, since GM put their V6 in Colorado and in Trailblazer. Not to mention that Ford's V6 engines (3.5 and 3.7) aren't exactly reliable. The other guess (which makes more sense) is releated to emissions and I wouldn't be surprised to see turbochraged version of 2.5 engine in the future (Mazda and Subaru took that approach with their crossovers - CX-9 and Ascent).

Surprisingly it doesn't, the car has some decent pickup and can handle some tight corners very well.. however, a little cabin noise reduction could have been better :)

This one is in production since 2018 when new Frontier was still designed and tested. And yes, it's more of a R51 Pathfinder or lwb Terrano and it should be called that (in Asian markets where they started selling it - it's called Terra) or Mistral. Terrano/Mistral would be especially fitting since that suv was known to be equipped with underpowered petrol engine (the same inline four used in first gen Xterra and in older Pathfinders, but in Terrano II/Mistral it was older version and it made only about 120bhp).

The new one is more of a replacement to R51 Pathfinder and lwb Mistral (aka Terrano II). It's not even called the same way. The market for compact off road capable suvs is very limited these days. But who knows - maybe Nissan would make something based on new Frontier in the future?

My problem with Nissan, They don't listen to the customer. They'll be soon out of business. Even you redesign an old model, make it better not worst. Please put the SUVs back on their frame, with 4×4 instead the crap 4WD. That's was the main reason people bought them in the past. And please nissan, please take those BS CVT of the cars. At least Nissan please make the Main comportment( the motor and the engine) than getting some parts from BS company, please, please Nissan make cars. Oh lord...

How should I tell this mate, they listen, but they're also making bad decisions. And they also keep in mind various taxes around the world as well as emissions. R53 Pathfinder have ZF auto so there's hope they might get CVT off some other of their cars. You want body on frame mid size and/or compact suv? It's not that easy with this kind these days. If there's no or there's very little profit from selling off roaders then don't expect those. In some cases companies are still producing certain models and in case of Nissan they're still making Y61 Patrol. It's available in GCC market, alongside with Y62 (which is sharing components with Armada and Titan).
