Reggae music is the reason I play guitar. Reggae is the most beautiful, uplifting, spiritual music on earth. What an amazing take on the genre. Phenomenal song, I love the production (modern without sounding like most modern wannabe reggae junk), awesome melody, great developing dynamics, and most of all, emotionally moving. I love it Carl. Thank you, Carl for all your fine posts ! Your experience and joy for your craft always shines through. I wanted to comment on a band that, for some reason,causes very polar opposite reactions . Jimmy Page is a fan...Tony Visconti is such a big fan, he produced one of their songs and says " Bowie would have loved them ! Yet...some VERY prominent YT producers ( Rick B ) sprint in the opposite direction when questioned about them . They have a HUGE fan base of people like myself, who grew up with 60's , 70's , and 80' s rock . Some call them " A musicians band " . I am a 58 year old male , who like most of their fans , can't find even ONE bad song in their catalog of over 130 songs . To the " Old Timers " that follow them , they are simply a revelation ! I will save the superlatives for another time . They've been together for 10 years and just seem to keep improving ! Now...to the point... MANNERS/ BLACK HOLE is a good starting point for the miraculous Japanese ladies that go by the name of BAND MAID ! I've waited for 30 years for music THIS good . Thank you again Carl and I hope I'm not wasting your time !

Just gotta go through my stash of discs and find one with a decent EQ and add a little extra track to it.. I watched a johnny rotten interview he loves ragga he said Jamaica was this beautiful place were people just smoked weed and played ragga back in the 70s and 80s now hip hop has taken over and you can't go down the street without getting shot music really effects culture that deeply its just so sad if you go into the getto of Chicago no lives past 25 they just kill each other over nothing all hip hop influence I'd like to see something like ragga get popular in the mainstream again I bet the death toll would go way down
