Mike Bxx I see you only look at raw data about Murray`s bout. Very Superficial observation. Running Away and Actual Fighting are two different things. I am not a boxer, but I am Kazakh and quite a strong man. I think I could last 11 rounds with GGG simply by running away and Turning on the Survival mode Just Like Murray did. Murray is one of the easiest opponents GGG ever had. Period. That was a punching bag sparring session. Froch would be devastated. You are really so naive, thinking that Froch would have any chance against GGG? Froch`s size advantage is literally All he can offer. But that alone would not help him.

I heard somewhere that Froch thinks he can’t be knocked out in a boxing match. No doubt he has an Iron chin, but as he is a light-heavyweight now, they should throw him in with Kovalev and see how he gets on.
@scribble369 жыл бұрын
His head is fucking so pumped up!! He thinks he is ALI! Bute was well blown out of proportion as a great boxer when he fought Carl,Groves is a middle ofr the road European fighter at best!! Kessler wasn't the same fighter that beat Carl when they fought again! Andre Ward was the only real prime world class fighter he faced and he got schooled!! As soon as Kugi mentioned Ward,Frotch went quiet and that speaks a thousand words!!
@cemselmooglu94969 жыл бұрын
All the respect for Carl Froch but he needs to get his facts right. He said Fury is 6.6, 6.7, but he is 6.9. Then he says David Haye is 33, 34, he is 35. Then he says Geroge Groves is 28, but he is 27. You work for Sky Sports mate, sort it out.

sky should do a prizefighter type comp with the top supper middles on one night, pure random draws and winner takes home 5 mil. if sky did shows like that in all weight classes they could then atleast put shows on ppv that would be worth paying for. Thats the future of boxing, people aint gona be waiting or caring if you take 5 years to build a fighter like whats happening now. get some decent shows on for next year cus 2015 has been wank, except for maybe next Saturday in dusseldorf.

If Carl is coming back at 175lbs, he's not got a chance. Ward would school him again and Kovalev would potentially end his life. Even GGG at 168lbs would be catastrophic. If I was Hearn, I'd get Carl in with another local Euro bum, but stage the fight in Poland given Carl's Polish background.

Froch was a great fighter, but Ward really made him look like a fool. I remember Froch would try to get in his head and would try to bother him whenever he passed by him, yap in the press conferences and interviews. It was a tough fight for Ward, but he outboxed Froch and it looked easy. I was happy that day. Ward is my hometown heroe, but I also admire Froch because he has heart, he comes to fight, and is as tough as a bull. Great memories.
@theevo69327 жыл бұрын
i really like froch. hes a great fighter. having said that, lets be honest, froch was battered by groves. i had groves up 8 points wen the ref unfairly stopped. which means that if karl froch ever comes back, thers only one point he needs to prove, groves would be all over him in a rematch but froch is too scared, we all know that .
@TheRedfoot869 жыл бұрын
People call Froch arrogant, but if you had followed the man throughout his career, you would know a lot of his words are tongue-in-cheek. Anyone notice the throwback comment "international superstar"?. The man likes having a laugh. His self belief is what people call arrogance, but any boxer who don't have belief will not go far. Froch is a tough guy, and he undoubtedly is a warrior. He avenged his defeat to Kessler, a defeat that isn't to be ashamed of. He did call Calzaghe out many times, the reason they never fought is not his fault. But, because he lost vs Ward and no rematch has transpired, he doesn't get the credit that's due. Fighters from all divisions always predict Froch to win his fights. Sure he's lost a couple, but he has never been ko'd. Froch has been in some tough fights, he has earned the right to be respected.
