Hay, I love that line and am adding it to my extensive quote list! "You recorded one festival in 1974 off the radio. You got lucky they broadcast that sort of thing." -VDGG94ki

This man studied philosphy and was well versed in Dante. His "act" was a cyncism of the highest order:shock and phantasm is what people wanted, he would say, screw the music. We listened together in his Anaheim Convention Center dressing room while Electric Blues with Buddy Rich hammered out their work. Arthur shook his head as we watched the tepid reaction of the audience. "Music," he added again, "that's not what people want. Theater, that's what they want. Look at Jagger and The Stones."

Yes it is. He was 17 when he toured with Arthur Brown.

And then Carl Palmer left Arthur Brown, and went to Atomic Rooster, then ELP.

I did the sound for California Jam and I'd like to interview Carl Palmer about it.

I don't know what you're talking about with mice and Leslie's but I did actually do the BROADCAST for the California Jam show. Anything else I can't tell you about as far as stage-props and awl that. I've made "the only three hours of radio that matters" from the Caljam thus rendering plain classic rock and rock'n roll obsolete. I never touch the stuff, actually. Thanks for asking. Caljamscott

Poor Arthur's gone bald! I guess that's what happens when you wear fire on your head for a couple years. Nevertheless, Arthur Brown had an amazing voice and was the first to bring theatrics to rock in a big way.
@Caljamscott15 жыл бұрын
I am the only one who matters in music. And film.
@p0llenp0ny13 жыл бұрын
@theseventhprotocol Why is LSD dangerous? And how does Brown prove it?
@Caljamscott15 жыл бұрын
My pleasure answering. Actually I wasn't even there, I was here. I did everything remotely. But it's still "the only three hours of radio that matters!" Scott

Don't get me wrong-I like 'em both, but Alice Cooper obviously got a lot of ideas from Arthur, not to mention Screamin' Jay hawkins.

Caljamscott is the lord their god at camp. That's why they physically carry me up hills and stuff. Why do you ask at this time?
@Caljamscott15 жыл бұрын
Be specific.
@Caljamscott15 жыл бұрын
It's the only music that matters from the 70s. The soundtrack is WAY bigger than rock'n roll and should do away with it.
@Caljamscott15 жыл бұрын
That's the "biggest bootlegger" in the world.
@MrGb4ever13 жыл бұрын
A receding hairline wasn`t what caused him to go bald.....Perhaps a little too much fire Arthur?? LMAO!!!!
