Wonderful music. I love CPE, and although he is (who wouldn't be) somewhat eclipsed by JS, these trio sonatas show that he absorbed the best of JS and they are of a similar quality and mastery as his father's similar work. A fitting tribute to the Baroque twilight and a musical Herald to the incoming Rococó Galante and Classical styles.
