A great game, a great analysis, exciting all the way and the end is superb. Mato, I am addicted to you. Thank you. A day is incomplete without your video. "Hi, this is Mato" has become very familiar with my family.

I saw that move easily! I'm as good as Schlechter!! ... except ... I don't know how to get into such positions. :-(

Amazing! I've been getting pretty good at finding the "killer move" but I never saw how the Queen sacrifice would win the game. Simply amazing.

What a finish! Black lost because queen was cowardly hiding behind the king.

perhaps you all saw this already, but I was wondering why the queen sacrifice was necessary for the mate. I asked myself what you couldn't lay Kh2 straight away. The answer is that black queen can then give check, the black knight can come to f4 and mate is inevitable in a few moves. Schlechter had to get the black queen off the open E file for the plan to work. Top stuff!

At 1.41 black saves his knight by Ncd6 or Ned6.

Mevzu atı korumak mı? Aed6 oynarsa Vxg7 Kf8 Ke1+ var. Diğer atla d6 ya zıplayınca da baskı devam eder. Siyahın oyunu kalmaz.

@@M.Senseilhan Acd6 daha iyi. Şayet Vxg7 siyah Vf6 . Vezirler değişilir.

WHITE could have won without queen sacrifice too. Kg2 Qe2(check), Nf2(check) QxNf2(check), KxQf2 then black random move, Qh6 checkmate. If there's a mistake, kindly correct me.

At 1:43 when the knights are forked, what prevents Ncd6 to save both knights?
@fep_ptcp883
@fep_ptcp883 5 жыл бұрын
I've checked on stockfish, after Ncd6, white can play Qxg7, grabbing a pawn for free and attacking the rook. This move discourages black to castle kingside and forces Qf6 by black to save the rook. I see a good game for white in this line.
