Yes, now the world of US Soaps are devastated and heartbroken at the Death of Kristoff St. John who played Neil Winters on The Young & The Restless from 1991-2019 who died of Alcohol Poisoning but I wonder if it was suicide. His Son Julian who was Schizophrenic died in a Group Home in Texas after committing suicide himself. He was the Longest Male Black Cast Member not only on The Show but of all The Soaps. To many of the Actors including Shemar Moore he kicked the door open for many of them. He won Two Daytime Emmys (America's Highest Honor) and 10 NAACP Image Awards (National Association For The Advancement Of Colored People) more than any other African American Soap Actor. On Friday they will do a tribute show to him.

The point of this storyline was to raise awareness for male mental health and suicide, not to display carnage or the pain that the victim suffered while taking his life. Everyone deals with tragedy in different ways. I am like Carla. I get very calm on the outside. It doesn't mean she's cold or unfeeling. I liked how they showed all the different types of reactions people have: sadness, denial/anger, calm shock, etc. It was very realistic and very well done.
