Love your videos Carla, thank you. Please don't put yourself down the way you do sometimes. There is absolutely no need to. You are perfectly fine just as you are. It seems to be something women are predisposed to do and I so wish it wasn't the case. I used to do it too when I was younger but no longer. It is very telling that not many men seem to do it.

Hi Carla, great vlog love simply be some lovely clothes. The grey sweatshirt could be worn with a black or white T.shirt longer length I get mine from. Sainsbury's I've bought men's. as well. Keep the boots they really suit you you could wear black socks that would look as if boots are zipped up. They will give slightly as well. Some lovely clothes XX

Liked the oatmeal sweater/jumper except for the sleeves being so long. For that reason alone, Id return it. I think the sleeve length will bother you every time you wear it. As to the 2nd jumper, you won’t be happy wearing it if you’re not happy with the way it looks now. Return it. I’m always advocating returning clothing that doesn’t make you happy as soon as you try it on. Definitely keep the dark wash leggings. They look nice. Our feet are so important to how we walk and move. Poor fitting shoes only make us uncomfortable and we need foot comfort. Only keep the shoes that fit properly, but of course it’s your choice.

I’ve spent too much money over the years keeping things that would work… “If“. So I say, unless you absolutely love it like you have on some of the clothing halls, if it doesn’t make you smile and feel good thinking about wearing it then send it back. You won’t regret it. Otherwise it’s just gonna sit in your closet, and you won’t be reaching for it. Just a suggestion. This is the rule I get myself nowadays. Makes me much happier.

Hi Carla. Definitely agree with you on the bra in bed - bad enough wearing one in the day let alone at night 😊. The first jumper looked great on you. I bought one that had floppy sleeves but I think it’s just the fashion. A lot of jumpers in the shops seem to be cropped. I would rather have a longer length to cover my bum. I’d send the boots back but keep the trainers, they are gorgeous. Xx

Enjoyable as always. About 9 years ago I lost 7 stone & of course put it back on. Now lost 4 stone & this time more weight has come off my legs. My legs are smaller now than when I lost 7 stone. Very odd & I'm putting down to the menopause. So you could be lucky this time with your legs, obviously I realise regardless you'll still have the other problem 😢 Hope you have a fab holiday!

Hi Carla! Rather than jeggings or wide leg trousers and jeans, maybe try something in between - a straight leg style. It should accommodate your knees while keeping your proportions balanced out.

Hi Carla, l was also looking for boots on simply be and came across extra width sketchers boots in black that looked lovely. Unfortunately, they are quite a bit more than yours, I think, 60 odd pounds. I loved the oatmeal jersey on you and trainers. l have bought a 2-pack pj's from simply be before, which was my size, but l found a little tight they also were a terrible material. Hi Carla, You did well with so many things, not too much to send back. I would send the boots back, BUT, I would order them in a bigger size, so they will both zip up, and wear a thicker sock on the smaller foot. i liked the first jumper as well, and would definitely sew some elastic around the end of the sleeves. Love all your videos Carla, no matter what the content. Your try ons are always so good because of your honesty in the products you try. The oatmeal jumper looked so cosy and despite the sleeves it looked good on you, it's just the fashion at the moment to have big sleeves. The trainers are fab and looked fantastic with the flared darkwash jeggings. Shame about the boots not doing up. I was tempted to say keep them anyway but actually I think you should treat yourself to some that do fasten up, so I would return them and try some others. Take care xx

I am similar size and shape up you and struggle with getting anything ideal from Simply Be Out of it all is keep the dark jeggings and the trainers The shorter jumper is lovely but like you I couldn’t cope with it not covering my overhang I’ve kept ankle boots that haven’t done up and never worn them so I would send them back and look elsewhere x

Definitely send the boots back Carla and look for similar design with elastic sides, I feel your pain and have a similar issue. I kept a pair that I couldn't fasten, and they felt uncomfortable and the zip rubbed on me as I was walking, stopped wearing them in the end, so total waste of money 😞 love your videos, hope your all well. There's a new range in Pavers called easy fit which might be good for you to look at, they seem quite wide. I've just got some ankle boots myself and have same problem. The grey jumper looks great but I wouldn't keep it because it probably will ride up and maybe shrink in the wash a bit I got same problem as you. The grey is lovely but itchy is a no no for me maybe roll the sleeves and put a few stitches in to keep them in place. Thanks I enjoyed watching

Great haul and try on Carla - I would definitely keep the dark wash jeggings, the trainers, the slippers and the PJs, all super cute and cosy. The sleeves on the oatmeal jumper would drive me mad and the length of the grey hoodie too! Boots are a quandary - will they work enough? My take is send them back and use that money for a better fitting, closable boot!

I can never zip boots all the way up and my ankles are not swollen, I do have a broad foot though, so I always wear boots unzipped or half way..Love the trainers and also the jumpers !!!

I would return both jumpers along with the lighter jeans. Maybe try a wide fitting in the boot to see if they fit better? I always keep items that I say will do but never end up wearing them. X

Loved the 1st jumper, yes just put elastic round the cuffs & that should make them better, I'd send the boots back they'd annoy me that I couldn't zip them up & I would want the rain/snow getting inside so my feet would get wet, ❤️🥰

Im a big bird, similar size to you actually, and i have BIG ankles too, one is bigger because i broke it and it is now held together with plates and screws, seeing as the boots ALMOST fit, i would keep them, wear them on days your not as swollen (1st thing in morning on colder days for me) and in time they will likely start to "give", i mean, thats if you really LOVE them, otherwise, if your "meh" about them send them back and get wide fit. I just brought a stunning pair of Reiker fur lined boots, wide fit, the fit beautiful and are so warm and comfortable

If you're not delighted with the jumper and hoodie, I'd send them back. You won't wear them, and could use the £60 to buy other pieces that you love. The dark leggings look really good on you. I'd send the light wash ones back, and reorder them when they're back in stock. Or buy the black ( I love black jeans) The sketchers are lovely. I'd send back the ill fitting boots, and get a 2nd pair of the Sketchers. Love the slippers!

Hi Carla. I know this video isn’t about weight loss, but I have been watching for a long time. Like you I have successfully dieted many times and ended up heavier than ever. I got so pissed off with everything I’m now trying weight loss injections- Mounjaro in my case. I’m a couple of weeks in and am incredibly impressed with how they have taken my appetite down to that of a thin person, and when I eat I feel full for hours. Just letting you know in case it’s an option you wanted to think about. Nice video!

Hi Carla love your try ons I would return the boots look for some that give you more leeway at the ankle it's all about comfort at our age 😂 love the dark jeans and sketchers are adorable on you personally not a fan of jumpers very odd shape I have like a potato with two sticks stuck in lol!!!! I would love to see you try some wide leg trousers they skim over the tummy and will give your poor knees some breathing room too you appear to be tall I'm only 5ft 1 in so no judge here 😂 but I would like to see you try them thanks for sharing 😊

Lovely haul Carla I agree with what you are keeping ,I would keep the boots too because you can’t see that they have not zipped fully with the flared jeggings . Have you tried pulling up the zip with a lace threaded through it as it makes it easier to do and I think through time the heat of your feet and ankles will widen the boots huni 😉👍😁❤️p.s I can’t wear a bra to bed either in fact I hardly wear a bra as I am housebound it’s more comfy without it lol only wear one if someone is coming to visit me 😉👍😁

Hi Carla love these try ons! Banishing the myth that plus size means regular shape just bigger all over so 9ft long sleeves make all the sense x Simply be should do better maybe time for inclusive size sellers to offer different sleeve lengths. With the price of everything these days I'm not keeping anything I'm not happy with. You deserve better than paying these prices for things that don't really work. Simply Be should pull it's (probably too narrow) socks up and roll up it's giganticly long sleeves and get creating for all bodies ❤ the oatmeal colours really look great on you x
