The final round of the year. I needed a good result to qualify for the AC so I hoped the Bream Gods would be kind to me. They weren't!
But the Flathead Gods felt sorry for me and offered up a new PB...

Absolutely brutal comp especially with the month I had in August leading up to the prefish ban, but that's fishing. Glad I found a couple day 2 and as always great video and was great to catch up on the water mate 🤙🏽

The hobie officials really need to have a think about the time of year you guys are at the basin, I’m a regular fisho there and I can tell you it’s a weird place. It’s like the whole basin shuts down 6 months of the year. Having 50+ fishos with donuts in a comp isn’t a good look. November-march is only time worth going out there.

If only it was that easy Brice. Hobie try to fit in with all the other tournaments around Australia and sometimes they just have to run events when they get the chance. Always something to learn though and tough comps make me put my thinking cap on.

@@CarlDubois I get that with other tournaments, but hobie should take the information from you anglers and listen to locals too. I encourage you guys to come becz it’s great place to visit and fish. But you guys are spending money fuel/accommodation/food, time off work, to fish donuts and get no reward for your troubles. If hobie gonna put that event on in late winter than may as well close that event. Can’t have 60+ fishos not catch anything in a tourney.
