at the minutes 4.25 after you carry 4 once at the top you jumped the sixth one and didn't explain. Later I figured out since you just did fast there was nothing to carry at that point but swore you explained me more than my Professor at NCC even he is really really good Instructor. Basically what I had registered in my mind that I was missing was if you have 2 once carry 1 and put 0 at the bottom, if you have 3 once carry one and put 1 at the bottom if you have Zeros put 0 That helped thanks.

You have to decompose 12 in power of 2, starting by the biggest power of 2 falling in 12 : 2^3. Then do the same with 12-2^3 = 4 : 2^2 . So, 12 is the sum of 2^3 and 2^2 -> 12d=1100b.
