Ummmmm WTF?!!! We just watched the finale….. Our reaction will be up this weekend 🥵 You’re not going to wanna miss this one…

I've seen on a Korean reactor's stream that the biography of the detective's brother in the files says that he was a corrupt police officer. That would explain the similarities in where they shoot people as they had the same gun training
@CarlieAndAnge3 жыл бұрын
Oh wow! Thats such a good pick up. The show does a great job at dropping little clues every now and then
@Sunset5533 жыл бұрын
i figured the Front Man was a policeman from his knowledge about the gun, but I didn’t figure on corruption.

I think they blew up the glass was to eliminate players that couldn't pass the bridge when the time ended. And three of them were so close to the end time so they got hit by the glass before they leave.
@CarlieAndAnge3 жыл бұрын
Yea exactly, but I thought it was unfair that they weren’t protected from the glass then they won fair and square!

Looking forward to your reaction to the finale. Very happy that Carlie noticed the triangle, square and circle of the set design in the last meal scene. Did you notice the 6 games that will be played are on the walls of the room? The detective Jun-ho is probably still alive. The front man, his brother In-ho, was shown to be an accurate shooter in ep 3 and 5, so he must have intentionally shot Jun-ho on the shoulder. I have watched more than 20 reactions to this episode and it still enraged me and made me cry when Sang-woo kills Sae-byeok. Fun fact- the actor that plays the front man is Lee Byung-hun. He made famous the line 'let's have a drink of Maldives at mojito' which was referenced in episode 6 during the conversation between Sae-byeok and Ji-yeong. The line is from the Korean movie Inside Men.

Yes we did pick up the games on the wall and carlie picked up on the shooting in ep 3 and 5! Thanks for the comment 😀

Late but for those who might not watch much Kdramas Lee Byung Hun is also known for playing Storm shadow (G.I Joe) and he's also in the magnificent seven

Ill say this now, the actor who plays Gi-Hun is one of the best criers ive ever seen. Ever seen. Idk HOWWWW he just manages Holy hell i didnt even Sang stopped wearing his glasses the more deeping into his heel turn he got

In my opinion Sang Woo had to stop wearing his glasses when the doctor was introduced. They look similar and a lot of reactors confused the two.

when it comes to survival, Sang-woo did what he could do best. As much as I hate sang-woo, I respect Sang-woo's decisions. He is actually one of best characters in squid game and most relistic.

@@CarlieAndAnge most people would be like him in that situation
@Sneakysneaky88 Жыл бұрын
@@martamarinelli413 Nobody really knows how they'll be in a life or death situation, much less one in a closed environment like this. We like to think we do, but it would severely mess with our radars. For instance, Sang Woo is a good guy, but also a survive-at-any-costs kind of person, a product of his misfortune when his business scapegoated him and left him with crippling debt, it was a choice between have his life ended or start to prey on others to buy himself some time. What would have started as small cons to stay afloat likely escalated when he had no other choice, and eventually it deadened him inside. We see glimpses of the man he was in his kindness (his hesitations, his genuine flinching and self-loathing with Ali, etc) but we also see how he is driven to survive. We're supposed to hate him but I just found him tragic. Its worth noting that if not for his decision on the bridge, even a second more of waiting and the others would have died. I can't really hate him because everyone came back to the games knowing exactly what was going to happen, and by this point in the games, giving up would essentially be just pissing on their collective graves and letting the shadowy organisation laugh it off without paying up. The games were engineered to mess with people, and it worked, because if not for Sae Byeok, our good-guy protagonist was about to shank Sang-Woo just because they had a stress/trauma-induced argument, dropping all that morality just as Sang-Woo did when the options ran thin. We all hurt when our buddy Ali got conned, but lets not forget how a certain someone was willing to let a certain grandad die when it came down to it. I mean, the anger/etc is understandable, but people totally wrote Sang-Woo off and I think that maybe robbed them of an extra layer of bitterness. Or maybe that's just because the show is written well and we're too deep in the moment to care. idk.

So we as the audience know that the game makers want only 1 to live. But that isn’t an official rule by the rules the competitors were told more than 1 can win. Gi hun is saying he and her will win together not vote to cancel the games.
@foxpaw13 жыл бұрын
wait. you think they actually care about "fair"? the only reason for equality is to maintain the integrity of the bets placed by the VIPs. they had also said that you win six games, you win money but proceeded to set them all up to kill each other outside the confines of the games themselves.
@CarlieAndAnge3 жыл бұрын
Oh wow that’s so messed up. So he made an example out of those workers and doctor, not because it was unfair to the players, but because it was unfair to the VIPs?!
@foxpaw13 жыл бұрын
they also didn't tell them they would manipulate the numbers they needed for the next game and only ONE will win in the end (note the lists from the front man's files only had single winners from each yr)

my only bad take about this series is the thing with the piece of glass that Sae byeok got in her stomach (i think it was her stomach, anyways), I mean I don't find a problem with the glass exploding and damaging the players if they're still near, but they sould give her medical attention, i don't know if they didn't because she didn't tell them or they would never do it anyways
@beyondviolet Жыл бұрын
man they don’t care how players die in between games or during them, they just care about making it entertaining

he did put her out of her misery though, she had already past out for blood loss and the staff wouldn't help her anyways. Also they could both vote for giving up the game because they were majority 2/3
