Lux is the blonde haired demacian girl with the giant laser. Her using magic in the end is of particular notice because magic is outlawed in Demacia. She is a mage in hiding up to that point. Check out the comic book, "Lux" . You get a whole breakdown of Lux and Sylas

Talking about Sylas and him making a sword out of his hand. The character is a mage, and in Demacia magic is outlawed. This bit with him making a sword is an awesome touch, because in the game, Sylas's ultimate ability allows him to copy the ultimate ability of an enemy near him. So in this cinematic, he conjures garen's (the guy he is fighting) sword out of thin air and is going to finish him off with a magical copy of his own weapon.

Despite garen hating magic because a mage killed his uncle. He unknowingly wields a magic sword, that why sylas was able to take the magic from his weapon. This supported by swain's quote againts garen "demacia, hypocrites who wield the very weapon they hate".
@WhiteSharks-wz6kn2 жыл бұрын
"Demacia magic is outlawed" It's a bit more than that. Demacia is actively holding a genocide against mages, including mages born within their own population. Sylas, who escapes the prison he was in (still with his chains) with the help of Lux (that girl that fires light beams) and is now the leader of the mage rebellion that causes/caused a civil war in Demacia.
@CerbuC2 жыл бұрын
The copy of the sword is deeper then the game ulti ... theoretically garen is a sword master not a mage, but in the fight sylas absorbs magic to copy the sword. From where? Simple from the actual sword that have powers from Kayle herself. Garen ultimate is actually Kayle's sword falling over opponents... aspect of justice

3 things: 1. You should think of Odyssey, K/DA, True Damage, and all the other skin lines as being in different universes or alternate realities to main lore, and thus shouldn't compare the Arcane lore and character characteristics to other cinematics, especially since we don't know how Arcane fits into overall League of Legends lore yet. 2. Arcane is designed as a Piltover/Zaun focused prequel to the games lore, but it also doesn't fully align to the games existing lore. It changes some origin stories and timelines that impact quite a few things. And as far as I'm aware, none of the story writers have said if they will retcon the lore to fit with Arcane, or will Arcane become just another skin-line universe/alternate reality like the ones mentioned in #1. 3. League of Legends: Wild Rift is mobile (Android, and iOS) version of the game. Glad to see more new people getting into the universe.
@TurokRevolution2 жыл бұрын
I think Arcane will stay its own universe, maybe some elements will be brought over into the main universe later but not all of it. They made no attempt to change any of the main lore to fit with Arcane. In Zeri's story (which released after Arcane Act 3) she rescued Ekko's parents, who are not mentioned in Arcane whatsoever, so they are presumably dead. I would really like if Riot brought Silco into the main universe. Riot said that he won't become a champion, but already put him in TFT, so I'd like to see him as a card in Legends of Runeterra or at least mentioned in a new Jinx story.
@wynq2 жыл бұрын
So far, Riot has said that Arcane is not canon for LoL. I'm assuming it is because they want to keep their options open for making dramatic changes like killing off champions. If it is all canon, then we know who has plot armor. But if it isn't canon, then all bets are off the table.

@@kenjutsukata1o1 Based on the teaser for Arcane Season 2, she's trying to PROTECT both Jinx and Caitlyn who are on a collision course where one of them will very likely die. That's her reasoning for abandoning Zaun which is the reason why pretty much every Zaunite champ in game calls her a snake for "switching side", Ekko, Zeri, Renata, Warwick. Everyone tells her she turned her back on Zaun, but they don't understand that in Vi's mind, becoming an Enforcer and stopping her sister herself is the only way she can think to protect the two people she loves. Season 2 will likely deal with that. In the canon lore as far we know Vi is still an amnesiac, she didn't know that Jinx was Powder until they shared that moment in the Vault from Vi's biography well into adulthood. Jinx was just this criminal who was obsessed with pissing Vi off from her perspective because she can't remember her childhood up to the point where she started her own gang, Arcane and Canon are two very different set-ups. Riot may change the canon to be more like Arcane like people are asking, but I wouldn't hold my breath because that would just fuck a lot of other things up that would take too long to go into. Like the Brackern, or Camille's origin, Jayce not being the one to invent hextech etc etc.

So a short explanation of each cinematic: *Warriors:* 3 stories. The first one is as you said between Demacia and Freljord. It's like a small Demacian expedition that are trying to get Lux (blonde girl, Garen's sister) out safely since she is a mage. The guy they were fighting is called Sylas and he was locked up as a mage since being a child in a Demacian prison. He got out and the chains he has are the one's he was locked in. He is a leading a rebellion against Demacia and their anti-mage politics. He is very, very powerful. Lux calls Galio who is a specially mage statue out of magic absorbing material (I believe it's either a type of stone or wood). Galio is like an anti-magic protector and he hasn't moved in decades/centuries until this point. He is a huge dude. The second story is happening in a Pilovan prison. Some goons are coming to free Urgot (the crab guy, he is not the one Ekko is fighting in Seconds). Urgot is like a chem baron and we might see his story in season two. I believe he has Noxian origins. Vi and Caitlyn are the ones who put him in prison in the first place and they are here to make sure he stays there because he is extremely dangerous, especially ideologically. The 3rd story is about Ezreal (the blond guy) who is an explorer in search of his parents. In this clip he entered a place in Shurima (the desert) that was holding back the void (you'll learn more about it on the coming year - it's a huge thing in Runeterra and it might relate to what happened to the Hexcore in Arcane). The artifact is called the Tier of the Goddess which is an item in the League of Legends game. Anyway, he is taking it and thus dispelling the protection from the void and it immediately comes to invade Runeterra. The girl who comes to save him is Kai'Sa (you saw her in KDA. She is the dancer of the group). Kai'Sa is a void symbiote. She is trying to protect Shurima from being invading by it. You'll get more of that in The Call cinematic. Warriors is a really fun one in terms of champion selection. The recruitment ad by Jinx is featuring hers truly, the big guy Malphite (he is tiny here. In the lore he is an entire mountain. One of the largest being in Runeterra (second to Aurelion Sol I believe who is a huge space dragon that creates stars. More on that in The Call). So, Jinx, Malphite, the sword guy Yasuo. You'll see a lot more of him in other cinematics. There is one specifically for his and his brother's lore. The villain Jinx is fawning over is Kayn, who is a very interesting character that fights against the weapon he is holding. It's called a Darkin and it relates to many other lore things in Runeterra. I think you'll learn about it later in As We Fall music video about Varus. The last champion we see is in the end and it's a girl called Sona. She is a musician that is mute. She is Demacian by origin. She has a really cool story on the universe website. Third cinematic is a launch trailer for the mobile game version of League of Legends called Wild Rift. It just features a lot of fun characters and there is no lore. Jinx, Lux being bored studying in Demacia, Yasuo fighting some Navori people with a spoon and also being bored, Blitzcrank being lonely (you'll see him in Arcane season two I believe). The last team character is Teemo who you saw in the "Don't Mess with Yordles" Tales of Runeterra cinematic and in a children's book in Arcane at Marcus' daughter's room. The enemy team is made of Zed (shadow ninja), Ahri, Camille (you'll see her in the Awaken cinematic and maybe in Arcane season 2. She is very important to the origin of the hex crystals in Piltover. Braum and Malphite (looking more like mountain this time but still small compared to the lore). Basically Jinx brings everyone to have fun away from boredom signifying the game is really fun and it makes for a fantastic trailer. Lastly, Jayce and Caitlyn were released in Wild Rift because of Arcane. They existed way before in League of Legends. It's their modern outifits. I hope this helps. For much more information especially of Warriors, I recommend watching Necrit's video on the subject. Love how you enjoy the League ride. Eagerly waiting for the Ekko theme cover. Might hop into your Patreon since you guy's provide so much great entertainment with this League content and I really appreciate it!

@@EgoJinpachi_ It is succinct. There's a lot of extra context. For example, just for the Snowy fight scene, there's a huge significance to all that. Demacia, the guys in armor, don't trust mages and people with magical ability (they're like pretty racist about it), so all their mages basically either get conscripted into a special super secret police force, sent to prison for existing, or both. The guy with the chains is called Sylas, he was conscripted when he was a kid then betrayed and thrown in jail, and those gauntlets on his arms are made of a special magical rock native to Demacia called Petricite which absorbs and nullifies magic. They had him in those chains for years, just draining the magic out of him, until he figured out that he could turn it around and use the rock to steal magical abilities from other people. The blonde girl is called Lux Crownguard, she's the little sister of Garen Crownguard, and the Crownguards are kind of a big deal in Demacia. They're not royalty, but they're sort of the most famous and important non-Nobles. They're the Beckhams basically, but if the Beckhams you know saved Britain from monsters countless times. Well, she's a mage, or more accurately, was born with the innate ability to wield the arcane (remember in Arcane, Jayce's ability to turn magic into a tool for everyone was significant because most folks can't just do it), which she didn't know until she was already quite a public face of the family. For a million and one reasons, it's not really a good look to have one of your super famous popular common families all of a sudden up and have one of their kids get disappeared by the secret police, so she's allowed to basically continue being cool and magical. One day, she's run out crying because she accidentally did a magic again, and she runs to this famous Petricite statue that I think at the time is just called The Protector, and she has so much magic she literally wakes the damn thing up. It becomes alive, it has a voice, and it can move and talk because she's got so much magic that just being near her, it absorbs enough to come to life. So she's like "wtf, how am I so magical" and starts researching and stuff and eventually she finds out there's this other super powerful dude called Sylas who got nabbed by the secret police, and so she uses her social position and power to go talk to him and eventually he's like "It's distinctly not fair that just because of who we are, we live in cages," and she's like "I don't live in a cage," and he's like "Don't you? You have to dump all your magic into living statue just so that people don't find out about you, your family hides your power and your gifts, and you go along with all of it." And she's like "Oh damn," and eventually she decides to help free him, thinking it's humanitarian. But dude been in a cage having his magic drained for like a decade and so he's got a bit of a chip on his shoulder and starts a mage rebellion in Demacia, actively attempting to murder the king and topple the old order. Eventually, he runs off to the Freljord (just north of Demacia) and recruits a bunch of their raiders (many of whom have ice magic) to help him come back and attack Demacia. Enter this sequence, where Lux's brother tries to stop him and gets his ass handed to him, and Lux sees a mage blasting dudes with ice who gets killed and drops his scepter, and she's like, "Ok, well, no more hiding I guess," so she pops off a beam of magical light powerful enough to summon the protector, who's real name is Galio, who shows up just in time to save Garen and rally the Dauntless Vanguard (the soldiers around them). The significance of this is that there's like a hundred of these dudes around, so there's no more hiding for Lux. She still believes in Demacia, but she's essentially "outed" now, because there's no way to contain the truth about her with all these soldiers around. ...that's all the context missing from *one* scene in that trailer.

Some say that in this video he is in Shurima. Kai'sa: She came from the Void, probably the greatest danger in Runeterra, in short, the Void that consumes everything and Kai'sa is the only survivor from there. The monsters of the Void feel an insatiable hunger, and we'll be getting more updates on this place this year, according to Riot Games. (She is the dancer in the KDA universe as well). Lux: She is a mage from a noble family of Demacia, she is also the younger sister of Garen (the warrior who also appears in the video). Up until this point, Lux had never shown her powers due to Demacia's oppression. Sylas: It's the guy with the chains, also a mage from Demacia. It turns out that in Demacia the use of magic is forbidden and Sylas with all the other mages have been imprisoned for years in Demacia's prisons, now he wants to overthrow one by one who is in power. Big lore time about warriors: In Demacia magic is forbidden and all mages get arrested just for being a mage, even kids and such, so the "magic sword" guy, Sylas, escaped from jail and start a rebelion against Demacia to free all the mages, that was the battle about, because Garen and Lux (the blond lady and Garen sister) is part of a militar family (the Crownguard, so Garen Crownguard and Lux Crownguard)... And yes, Lux is a mage and it's free because she hide her power from everyone to not get in jail... So in the final she use her magic in the middle of the battle to save Demacia from Sylas... She shot her magic to the Sky to wake up Galio, the big statue guy, who as made with a material that absorbs magic, but to wake up (he's a statue after all) he needs A LOT of magic close to him, that's what Lux did, give him the magic power... Sylas chains is made of the same Galio's material, that's why he can absorb magic too, and his power is basically copy all magic he fight against, so he can't do magic on his own, he need absorb someone magic first, the touch of the magic sword it's because he absorb the magic of Garen sword, meaning that Garen have magic power too (again, in Demacia magic is forbidden, so it's really "funny" how the "face of demacia" have magic powers xD) About the purple lady she's Kai'sa, a girl who was in the void for a really long time (that's why she looks like a void creature, being purple, yes... almost all the purple things in league of legends are void or singed related :b) and then is now hunting all voids creatures around Shurima. Ezreal, the blond guy, is an "archaeologist" (some people call him a thief xD), he's from piltover but he more like a hermit, don't have a place, he just explore the world to get some artifacts and he pretty much just explore around Shurima (and sometimes Ionia and Freljord), in warriors he was after the artifact called "Tear of the godness" (it's an item in the game) and active a trap that realease void creatures, that's why Kai'sa was there fighting against the void. Well, yes, Caitlyn and Vi are now partners and they was fighting Urgot, his lore is a bit weird... He's like a... "self-proclaimed" god and some people in Zaun believe him, so there's a whole religious cult praise him xD

So to help clarify some of the characters on the "Warriors" cinematic: - Girl with blonde hair and a magic wand at the end is called Lux - The big statue guy at the end is Galio - The demacia guy is called Garen (Galio and Lux are both from Demacia aswell) - The guy that "makes" a sword out of "light" is called Sylas (the sword he makes is a replica of Garen's sword due to the ultimate ability of Sylas in game) - Girl with purple painting and black hair is Kai'sa (you saw her in KDA) - Guy with blonde hair and blue eyes in the same scene than Kai'sa is called Ezreal As for the other 3 you got them right (Urgot, Caitlyn and Vi), hope this helps. And I'm with Ange, Jinx is indeed the best character even before Arcane!
@blodhevn23532 жыл бұрын
Yeah. and Statue guy is a "gargoyle" : In architecture, and specifically in Gothic architecture, a gargoyle (/ˈɡɑːrɡɔɪl/) is a carved or formed grotesque with a spout designed to convey water from a roof and away from the side of a building, thereby preventing rainwater from running down masonry walls and eroding the mortar between. but in fantasy and such they can be turned to life, often as protectors of the buildings/area. which is exactly what galio is.

Kai'sa (the girl in purple with the floaty things hovering behind her shoulders) is in K/DA with Ahri and the others, but lots of people sort of miss her/forget her, since she's not front and center in any of their vids for more than a few seconds (and it's easy to overlook everything else when Ahri and Evelynn are there 🙂 ) She's sort of the dedicated enemy of the swarming guys from deep below the earth (the Void), since they killed everyone she knew and loved, and tried to kill her as a little girl, only she somehow survived it, and ended up fused with one of them, which gives her destructive powers but also results in her needing to struggle against the urges from the void part of herself that are always whispering to her to kill and destroy and kill some more until everything non-Void is wiped out. Some people give her and the art team grief because she's 'too sexy' for a half-monster hybrid, but those people are just sad and wrong and Kai'sa is awesome and kick-ass and proud of her hotness NYAH!

To summarize Warriors: We have Freljord, Zaun, and Shurima. Garen and Lux are siblings and they're protecting a Demacian keep on the borders of their land from Sylas, a guy who was imprisoned for years for being a mage. The chains he uses to fight are those he was held by in his prison. He used Lux to get out since he can steal magic (he stole Garen's ultimate ability, his sword.) No one besides Garen knows Lux is a mage and they're royalty, so in a desperate situation she uses it in front of her soldiers to call Galio, a giant colossus from Demacia made of anti-magic metal (also what Sylas' chains are made of bc it absorbs magic) to come help. He's only awakened by gigantic bouts of magic. Demacia hates magic sooo Lux revealing such a thing is a big deal. Zaun: The one released from the giant glass is Urgot, though the guy Ekko was fighting looked quite similar. Urgot has crablike legs that shoot like shotguns whereas the guy Ekko faces has normal legs :) A lot of people in Zaun have those masks for the air. His men are freeing him from a prison, Vi and Cait are there to stop them since they're enforcers. Quite simple. Shurima: Ezreal is an explorer and treasure hunter who has a magical gauntlet. He's taking something called The Tear of the Goddess from a temple, and it set off a trap from the Void. Kai'sa comes in, having been trapped in the Void for years. Her suit is a symbiote and has adapted to her body. She goes around Shurima killing Void creatures, you'll see her again in the newest cinematic music video The Call helping a girl named Taliyah.

I'll summarize the 3 stories in Warriors: -Vi and Caitlyn are both enforcers and find a secret experiment: his name is Urgot and, despite the similarities, he is not the same guy that Ekko fought in Seconds. -In what probably is the frontier of Demacia and Freljord, Garen (guy with big sword) and his sister, Lux, are being attacked by Freljordians. Magic is forbidden in Demacia, and Sylas (guy with chains) is a Demacian mage that can sense other mages and steal their powers. Lux is also secretly a mage, but reveals herself to summon Galio, who is a construct that becomes activated by magic. He is Demacia's ultimate defense against mages. -Ezreal, who is an archaelogist from Piltover, is trying to steal the Tear of the Goddes (which is an item in LoL). He is attacked by creatures from another world called The Void. He is rescued by Kai'sa who was once trapped in The Void and now uses a symbiotic armor that she got there to fight The Void. All the characters I named above are playable in LoL.

Love y’all’s reactions as always, and I got a couple things to say 1) the big statue man at the end of warriors is called galio, he’s a living statue that protects demacia when he’s needed 2) the guy that made the light sword is sylas, who is a mage that can steal other peoples magic and is trying to overthrow demacia. 3) the girl that shot the light on the sky is lux, garens sister and a mage 4) the explorer stealing the thing from the cave was stealing an item from the game, the tear of the goddess, and he awakened the void, which was defeated by Kai’sa, a corrupted girl that fights off the void

Your reactions are so enthusiastic, love it x'D the purple girl is Kai'sa from KDA btw, only that is her true form in-game. Odyssey Jinx is a skin (every character you see different is a skin, like KDA) and also an alternative universe, so... yeah Jinx doesn't have friends really. Just a quick curiosity fact, since you love Arcane's trio: these are some quotes from Caitlyn to Jinx in-game: "Perhaps Piltover can rest easy without you, Jinx. But Vi..." (we can see how much Caitlyn cares about Vi, so cute) and "Is there a point to this madness, Jinx, or is it just a channel for your pain?" :)

For reference, the tiny blonde lady is named Lux. Her brother is the armor-clad Demacian warrior in that video, Garen. In-game Character abilities are often portrayed in the videos, such as Caitlin's sniper ultimate, or (as we were about to see in the Warrior's vid before it stopped) Lux's ultimate ability, in which she fires a massive laser of magic light in a humongous long line in front of her to nuke the ever-living heck out of her enemies. Characters often look quite a bit different in different videos. For example, Malphite is Jinx's rock buddy in the Odyssey video, but is also the giant rock golem on the opposing team in "You really got me" The League of Legends videos cover various themes: 1) General lore, backstory, etc. These are often released when characters are introduced, or when they get a rework, or to promote other game modes or just because. One example of this would be "Senna: Shadow’s Embrace" which was released when the Senna character came out. In that video, Senna's husband Lucian (who has an ability to dash after firing his pistol) is battling Thresh. Thresh collects the souls of his victims in his lantern, and had long ago killed Senna and collected her soul. In the video, we also see Senna's ability to fire her gun at a friendly target, giving them a protective shield and harming any enemies behind them. By the way, if you are interested in the League lore (and maybe other great stories we might get from them in future animation?), check out Necrit on KZbin if you haven't already... he is basically a tome of knowledge and regularly makes fantastic videos laying out some of the most amazing stories from the world of Runterra. 2) Some character release videos don't have a lot of backstory lore, but kind of showcase the personality or abilities of the character, such as "Get Jinxed" which came out when Jinx was first released.. TOTAL fun, kind of in line with lore a bit, set in Piltover, but no real story elements, just a fun video of Jinx wreaking some havoc in her classic cute-but-crazy style, meant to promote the new character release. 3) Over-the-top cinematic representations of a game of League of Legends. Obviously, the cinematics bear no resemblance whatsoever to any actual gameplay, they are just fun videos. "You really got me" is one of these, loosely representing a game of League of Legends.. 5 players on each side battling it out. So, Jinx is just putting her team together, and the other players are their opponents in the game. League of Legends teams can consist of mortal enemies, so no implications of friend or foe should be taken from those videos. 4) Event/season promotional videos. League of Legends has a multi-million dollar competitive tournament scene. They will often release an amazing cinematic at the beginning of the season or at the start of the Worlds tournament. Their PRIMARY purpose is just to get people pumped about League for the new season or event, but they often depict events or locations from the lore, or possible backstory for characters. Examples of these are: "Warriors 2021" (the one you watched) or "Awaken", or one of my favorites, "Legends Never Die" 5) Season or tournament promotions often make much more sense if you are familiar with the names and faces in those competitions, as they could also be a tribute to the high-ranked players with specific call-outs or references based on professional games, or just a "you could be a champion too" themes. For example, the song Warriors was actually introduced years earlier with "Warriors 2014".. which is all about the players, not the characters. "Rise" is FANTASTIC example of this.. we see a specific pro-player represented in the video (a team member of the winning team from the previous season), who wakes up at the beginning of the season and battles their way through specific opponents to attempt to win it all. Players are represented by their actual likeness and carry weapons/abilities used by the champions they selected during key games in the tournament.. the champions themselves aren't in that video, only the actual famous pro players, wielding the weapons their chosen champs carried in the games. 6) Skin (or other features/items) promotional videos. League of Legends is a free-to-play game, and their money comes from selling cosmetic items, most notably skins. "Welcome Aboard the Odyssey" is a promo video for the Odyssey skin line. Skin promotion videos are not meant to have any bearing on lore, and often take place in entirely different realities (such as the futuristic "Project" skin line world, where everyone is a robotic/android recreation of whoever they are supposed to be) 7) Music videos. These are technically skin or character promotional videos, but have become a bit of their own category. A prime (probably the best) example of this is "K/DA - POP/STARS"... a totally incredible music video created to promote the KD/A skin line (K-pop music) for the included characters. "Lets get Jinxed" mentioned earlier is another example of this, basically a fun music video to celebrate the release of a character. There is also the "Pentakill" music video line (heavy metal music), as well as the "True Damage" line (hip-hop music.. has Ekko in the group, by the way).

One cool little Easter Egg for long time League players in the Wild Rift video is that Lux has an ultimate skin that came out quite a few years ago. The video promo for the skin features her fighting Malphite the giant mountain of a champion (he is also one of Jinx's crew members in the Odyssey video). Before Jinx comes to grab her when Lux is studying you see her sneak a peak of a drawing of her fighting Malphite which is a cute little callback to that promo video. Then when Jinx brings her to Wild Rift and she sees Malphite in the distance she perks up because she'll get to fight him again.

24:10 I'm gonna pitch you something here. A lot of the community will agree with me while some wont. Also I am a bit biased. The only character I genuinely like more than Jinx is Jhin. He appears in the Awaken cinematic. From a game design standpoint and lorewise there is a general agreement among players that Jhin is the best crafted character in the league universe. Obviously debatable ofc. I believe he might appear in season 2 of Arcane, as he has been known to conduct business for a wealthy Piltoverian family. Some fan theories suggest that Jhin is in fact Silco, but thats highly unlikely unfortunately.
@tilltronje16232 жыл бұрын
I doubt he will appear any time soon. First of all because he does not fit into the state of lore that Arcane is currently in. Secondly because they have a lot better rivals for Caitlyn and Vi in store now with Sevikca, Camille, Warwick and Urgot as well as Noxus. And third because he is way too brutal for the show.
@kenjutsukata1o12 жыл бұрын
@@tilltronje1623 Wouldn't Jhin be the perfect foil for Caitlyn's detective arc? If Vi is going after Jinx without Caitlyn as the trailer implies, then Caitlyn's gotta have her own situation. Maybe alongside Jayce to develop their sibling-like relationship more? I guess it depends on how much Noxus we're going to see. If we actually end up in Noxus then they won't have time for that (unless they increase the episode length), but if Noxus is just going to be a presence in Piltover then it's possible we'll see Jhin. Also I have a feeling the show isn't going to shy away from brutal. They can do things "tastefully" while still getting the message across, not to mention I wouldn't be surprised if they escalated the violence a bit for the next season.
@Goomsies2 жыл бұрын
@@kenjutsukata1o1 If the show continues after season 2, we might see him. But from a film-making standpoint, having a major character like Jhin just show up out of nowhere to be a villain for season 2 wouldn't work. They've already set up a lot of potential villains. Not only will Jinx be a continuing antagonistic force, they've also set up Warwick, Sevika, Darius/Swain, Mel's mom, Renni (chem baroness who lost her son; she actually has a pretty significant story in the lore), and potentially Renata Glasc, the newest actual game character who happens to be a chem baroness as well. To choose a villain outside of that massive pool of already-established characters would be a bad move, I think. Not to say I wouldn't want to see Jhin eventually. It just doesn't make sense yet.
@ninjatoriumnova24832 жыл бұрын
Jhin being Silco was always quite dumb because, ya know, Jhin is Ionian, and more than that, he looks like a regular dude under the mask. No scars or anything, he is painfully bland and he hates it. We didn't even have to watch the show to dismiss that idea.

2:38 Big dude in the armour with the large sword is Garen Crownguard, he is a Demacian. He's head of the Dauntless Vanguard, Demacia's elite warrior company that goes out to face threats before they can really threaten Demacia directly. 3:05 Dude in the white cloak with the chains on his arms is Sylas of Dregbourne, he is also a Demacian. He was born with magical ability to detect magic in others and since magic is poorly regarded in Demacia, he was pressured to turn himself into the Mageseekers, which he did. They realized how useful that power was though, and they instead decided to recruit him to use his power to detect other mages to instead root out magic-capable people in Demacia and imprison them, as magic is considered 'an affliction' in Demacia and as I'd mentioned before in another video, Demacia will lock up their own citizens if they're found to have magic. During one inquisition to find a mage, the 'mage' turned out to be a young girl and Sylas was having some doubts about how free he'd be able to live with all the arrests he'd been part of, he attempted to defend/protect the girl but in doing so brushed against her and realized the true nature of his magical power; he could absorb other mage's power temporarily. He couldn't control the magic he accidentally absorbed from the girl and the resulting outpouring of lightning magic killed the child and two other Mageseekers, making him a dangerous criminal in Demacia. He was captured and imprisoned in a cell, bound with petricite chains to contain his magical power, until the eventual day where he was accidentally set free by Luxanna Crownguard, Garen's younger sister. 3:46 That's Kai'sa, she's one of the girls from K/DA, the one with the little floaty crystal-bits over her shoulders. This is her default/basic skin, her outfit is a sort of symbiotic creature from The Void, which is a sort of weird alien dimension that exists parallel to Runeterra. She was lost to the Void as a child and managed to survive by bonding with this life form that became the suit. I think she's supposed to be the lost daughter of another League champion, Kassadin, but I've not checked that lore connection in a while and he doesn't really appear in a lot of other media so that connection won't mean a whole lot to you. 3:55 Even back then Caitlyn was still whiffing critical shots by aiming for the shoulder instead of the head. God damn it Cait you have a passive called Headshot but you keep plinking their shoulder for crying out loud. First Sevika, now this nameless goon. 4:04 Not really, chemtech rebreathers like that are kind of a common feature on a lot of generic Zaunite punks, I think the dude with the big gun in the Warwick video had one too. Urgot is actually a Noxian that was imprisoned in Zaun by Chem-Barons after being sent there by Swain as a distraction so Swain could usurp power. The dude Ekko fought was a nobody. 4:26 Should also mention, this character is Ezreal. He's also from Piltover as I mentioned in a previous video, his diving into this ruin to find a magical artifact would make him a good character for a separate series where we just follow him around the rest of Runeterra seeing weird locations rather than any one set city, since we could get to explore a lot of fringe and hidden areas of the world and cross a lot of other characters, like Kai'sa here, since she's turning up to fight the Voidlings that came rushing out of the depths when Ezreal took that magical Tear of the Goddess. 4:36 Urgot can be pretty strong in the right hands, but he's a bit challenging to play. The chain-drill thing there is his ultimate, if he hits a champion with it and they're below a certain threshold of health, he can pull them into the grinder and instantly kill them. The only thing that can stop the guaranteed kill is if someone else kills Urgot before his target is pulled in, as the target is rendered helpless as they're dragged towards him. 5:01 That's Luxanna Crownguard, Lux for short, she's Garen's sister and another champion in the MOBA. One of my favourites as well, though she doesn't demonstrate a whole lot in most of the videos she appears in. Sylas taught her somewhat how to control and wield her magical power during the times they met while he was imprisoned, so while she's somewhat indebted to him for that, ultimately he was more or less just biding his time to be able to get an opportunity to escape. Their segment of this cinematic is revolving around a Winter's Claw assault Sylas launches against a northern fortress of Demacia as retaliation for all the injustices Demacia inflicts on it's population. Despite coming across as a villain, Sylas is really trying to fight for the freedom of magically gifted citizens of Demacia to live without persecution, which makes the entire situation really fucked up when you look over the rest of the lore and realize for as bright and shiny Demacia is made to look it's really a pretty dire near-fascist regime. 5:28 "What is that?" That giant statue is Galio, the Petricite Colossus. He's a giant statue that was constructed of the anti-magic stone that Demacia is popular for and is utilized as a weapon against mages as he is normally immobile and inert until he's awakened by a large amount of magical power. He's Demacia's kind of trump card against magic users and I believe he's actually developed a sort of bond with Lux on account of her having enough latent magical power emanating from her that she alone can awaken him, so her skyward beam of light from the previous scene was probably her literally calling to awaken Galio to come to her aid. He's actually a bit of a tragic character because Galio is a really friendly personality, but he's dormant for decades at a time until powerful magic awakens him, and it's almost invariably some mage enemy of Demacia that he's tasked to go and fight. Once he destroys the mage(s), he falls dormant again as he can no longer be sustained without the magic calling him to action, and in the intermediary time between awakenings everyone he knew from the previous time he awoke has either aged considerably or passed away. Lux is the only one he's been able to see and meet repeatedly, as her own magical power is great enough to awaken him with her presence, and so he is actually very protective of her being the only human mage friend he's ever made. 5:34 Lux probably incinerated like 20 dudes in that moment the title cut in. 6:52 I'm pretty sure it is pronounced Er-Got but I can understand reading it Er-Go. A lot of the names are kind of weird, the only way to be sure is to hear how Riot staff pronounce the names, or if they're ever said in game by a character. 7:38 Yeah, Garen in the Legends of Runeterra video is tiny, tiny boy by comparison. In every other thing he's appeared in, he's always had a much larger figure, it was a bit of a meme when the Legends of Runeterra came out that it was Baby Garen before he started his protein shakes daily. 7:56 As I mentioned before, Sylas' magical power is to absorb magic and use it himself. As well, the chains/manacles on his hands are also made of petricite, the same material Galio is made of, and it's property is also to absorb magical energy. If you look real close in the part of the scene when Garen rushes Sylas and gets blocked by the manacles, you can see some wisps of energy coming off Garen's sword and flowing into Sylas' manacles. The sword itself has some magical properties, and Sylas was able to tap into that to recreate it in an attempt to basically kill Garen with his own weapon, as it's "supposedly" blessed to be able to fight magic, it would be a terribly irony to be killed by the magic of his own weapon in a fight against mages. 9:28 Yeah, the northern fortress in the Warriors segment is bordering the Freljord. The main body of the enemy forces attacking with Sylas are the Winter's Claw, one of the pseudo-barbarian, viking-esque tribes of Freljordians that live in the land. They're a warlike raider clan for the most part. I also want to mention that Braum is Freljordian, though he doesn't swear alleigance to any one clan, he views all as brothers and sisters though he does hope that they can all unite into one clan one day.

10:08 That stone that Ezreal took is the Tear of the Goddess. It's an item in League of Legends, it provides a gradually increasing bonus to mana as well as a few other effects, incidentally it's also a fairly important item to Ezreal's typical item builds so it's also a cheeky reference for him to be grabbing it in the first place. The purple light and all the little creatures are kind of a consistent theme to keep in mind going forward with League lore, as the colour purple, purple creatures and the like are typically associated with The Void, that parallel alien dimension I mentioned. There's all kinds of weird monsters and horrors that come from the void and they almost all have a typical naming pattern including an apostrophe: Vel'koz, Kha'zix, Rek'sai, Cho'gath, Kog'Maw and even Kai'Sa, the dark haired woman in purple that later appears. 10:58 :^) 11:23 Vi and Caitlyn as seen here would probably be another 3-5 years from the point they were at in Arcane, maybe. Vi and Caitlyn after the time skip in episode 4 are probably somewhere around early 20s, Jinx would be about 17-18. By the 'current day' of Runeterra, Jinx is 22 while Vi and Caitlyn are 24~27 years old, but by the the frame the game characters are directly concerned, Vi is definitely an Enforcer in Piltover and helps keep the peace even though she's still as much of a punk. 11:45 "I think you paused it in the perfect spot." The League of Legends fandom wiki does use that exact frame as the character banner header for Vi's page for a reason. 12:12 Kai'sa actually hunts the Voidborn, as she's spent many years since her childhood surviving in the Void by learning to fight back against the creatures, and now that she's managed to return to Runeterra properly, she uses what she knows about the Voidborn to kill them in order to prevent what she feels is an otherwise inevitability of the Void overrunning Runeterra. 14:34 The soldiers were already in the fortress, but Galio has long been a figure of slight reverence in Demacia for his role as a protector, not quite worshipped as a god or anything but a lot of Demacian citizens go out to the plinth/plaza where Galio normally stands when he's not activated to pay respects and honour. It's where Galio became aware of Lux's magical power even from her being a toddler, and his presence as a symbol of Demacia's strength and protection serves as a rally for the soldiery of the nation to unite, because they know that Galio comes to life to fight their greatest enemies and save the people. All those soldiers are 100% prepared to lay down their lives at that moment. 15:01 Lux is a strongly aspected Light mage, though she does have a particular legendary skin that changes form, and one of them is a kind of spritely, fairy-like nature aligned one. There's even a video specifically for that skin, Elementalist Lux. You'll probably come across it eventually. It's just okay in my opinion, not really any lore than just a hype piece for a decorative skin to let everyone know you paid $30 to suck ass and get destroyed. :') 15:16 Fuck, I wrote a novel. Anyway; Thicksword McLargearmour: Garen Crownguard, head of the Dauntless Vanguard of Demacia. Lux's brother, dutifully keeping the secret that he knows his sister is a mage despite the fact he should, by all law, turn her in. Chaindaddy O'Swagger: Sylas, a mage-hunter-turned-criminal by accident for trying to stand up for people's rights. Imprisoned for something he couldn't help and for accidentally damaging the status quo, he met and manipulated Lux into helping him get free of incarceration so that he could attempt to reverse Demacia's treatment of mage kind through violent insurrection. Blondy Laser: Luxanna (Lux) Crownguard, a noble daughter of Demacia, terrified of being exiled or executed for having magic, she's both accidentally endeared herself to the living monument of Demacia's defense, Galio, and the greatest enemy of the current regime, Sylas. She was actually being lead into marrying the crown prince of Demacia as part of a familial ploy to protect her against threat of being accosted for being a mage, as no one would dare make a move to imprison the Queen of Demacia. The status of that plan is unknown but assumed null. Prettyboy Rocksnatcher: Ezreal, a son of Piltover, born to two reknowned archaeologists. With a magical gauntlet and unspecified magic powers of his own, he scours the old ruins of ancient history to find clues as to what happened to his parents, who he refuses to accept could have died afield. He actually has an unrequited love for Lux, while she doesn't even really know he exists. Purple Bodysuit: Kai'sa, a Shuriman girl who was lost to the void following an attack when an intended sacrifice to appease the Void was lost due to mischief. Through sheer determination she managed to survive in a hostile, alien dimension and bonded with a symbiotic carapace to hunt the Void monsters with their own strengths. Baldy Spidertank: Urgot, Noxian Headman sent to Zaun on a false flag play and arrested. He got himself grafted with chemtech augmentations to replace 'weak' parts of himself and then lead an insurrection in the prison to break out and terrorize Zaun and Piltover. He's sparked a bit of an anarchist collective to follow him, but was imprisoned again by Vi and Caitlyn. The clip here in Warriors is probably a cell of his followers trying to break him out of prison again.

15:36 All incidental events. Garen/Sylas/Lux are all on the Demacian/Freljord border on the north of Demacia, dealing with Sylas leading a band of Winter's Claw to attack them. Ezreal/Kai'sa is somewhere in Shurima, which is the southern continent of Runeterra. Urgot/Caitlyn/Vi are somewhere in Zaun. They're not directly connected, just flash for a fancy video for the most part, but the Demacian part of the events has some canon story basis, so it's also related to some metastory plot that'd been occuring. 19:23 The Odyssey skin line is a Guardians of the Galaxy-ish/sci-fi-ish skin line that coincided with a kind of experimental player-team-vs-environment event update that included some interesting sort of team-co-op gameplay in unique situations and this trailer/teaser was kind of the set-up and lead-in for it's initial launch. An interesting note for the skins with themes, they are considered to be entire alternate universes and while the characters might be the same in broad strokes, their situations and connections can be wildly different. Jinx seems happy with the Morning Star crew because she might legitimately be, she doesn't have the same character trajectory and is functionally a different person. The entire crew are a bunch of characters with no real connection; Malphite is some weird extra-dimensional rock monster whose present lore I forget since he's basically ignored; Yasuo is a popular character for his samurai aesthetic and gets a LOT of skins; the girl at the end in the hood is Sona Buvelle, a mute Demacian woman with a magical instrument. Not pictured is Ziggs, who is the only character that Jinx would normally actually know. Ziggs and Jinx develop a bit of a history in proper Runeterra because they both are *very* fond of explosions, but Ziggs calls an end to their comraderie when she wants to kill people with her explosions. 21:50 Yeah. It's just a promotion for Wild Rift, the mobile edition of League of Legends. 22:10 The Yordle there, Teemo, has a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo in Arcane. He's on one page of the children's book one of Silco's goons are reading in the scene where Silco and his thugs are in Ren's room, Marcus' daughter, to intimidate him. The big robot is Blitzcrank, he was created in Zaun and I'm not going to talk much about him because there's a non-zero chance to see his origin story in Arcane season 2. He spends a lot of time wandering around Zaun trying to help people but he also spends a lot of time alone and pondering the nature of life. 22:14 That rock dude is what Malphite actually looks like normally, quite a difference from his Odyssey skin. Braum is there with Ahri, Zed on the left appearing from shadows. Particular note is Camille on the right, in the front. She's from Piltover, and we could possibly see her in Arcane as well. Her family are the ones that were likely providing the hex crystals Jayce was experimenting on to begin with. 23:41 Correct, default Ahri has black hair. 24:11 "Tell me a better character." Uh... shit. I dunno, that's a big ask. Jinx is always a lot of fun for her chaotic personality and the kind of hijinx she can get up to, but it depends a lot on your tastes as well. I personally really like the kind of dynamic that Twisted Fate and Graves have going as semi-bumbling criminals travelling the world looking for big scores 27:25 She doesn't wear it and I can't check right now because I don't have an active Netflix account right now, but I'm pretty sure I remember a scene where Caitlyn is sitting around at home idly playing with a hat. It might not be spot-on for her signature top-hat but it's kind of similar from memory. It is a little more played at with her basic uniform cap than a full on top-hat though, so she does still have fancy headwear for at least the part of the series she actually wears it. It's kind of weird to think back and realize that most of Arcane she's actually not got a hat on. That's the real crazy shit. 27:35 That'll likely come to happen in the future. We saw Jayce fashion the Mercury Cannon/Hammer and use it, to some unfortunate results, but if he follows a similar sort of trajectory in Arcane as his path takes in Runeterra proper then he'll definitely take up as a defender of the city and fight to protect his hometown, which will undoubtably cross paths with Cait, who is on the path to become the new Sheriff. 28:41 A fair amount of the videos are kind of promotional and lore. A lot of the Worlds videos involve pro players using champion imagery so it can end up being confusing to see normal looking dudes demonstrating weird powers and shit, they lose a lot of impact without the context of who the players are, the characters they play regularly/played in competition and a bunch of other details, so while they can be cool to watch for the experience they're kind of eh for 'lore' since they're really just hype pieces for the yearly tournaments. That said though, the Worlds opening ceremonies and their performances can be some real bangers, especially the year they opened with K/DA's real life singers performing on stage with Augmented Reality projected digital overlays of the K/DA champion skin artists performing in tandem. That was pretty fucking cool. As always, I'll be watching your adventures in this learning endeavour with great interest. As someone that's been really into the League of Legends lore in all it's iterations over the past 11 years, I don't need much more of an excuse to mercilessly loredump nerd shit at a couple of confused beginners because it helps me feel like I didn't waste 11 years of my life reading shit that doesn't matter. :) _Someone hold me my life is meaningless._

5:44 Warriors is not the best cinematic by far imo, not saying it's bad by any means, it's great. But there are some way more impressive ones, both technically and artistically. like Kin of the Stained Blade or Awaken, or "Breathe" (tho that one is for the card game) just to name a few

the purple alien-looking girl is "kai-sa" she fell into something called the "void" which is a sort of different dimension with all kinds of purple weird creatures waiting to escape their dimension. the reason she is purple and all that, is because a parasite took over her, giving her powers but is slowly draining her. she still has control over herself, which is why she fights against the voidlings (the purple creatures in the video). you will see her in "the call" too.

So a quick breakdown of warriors 3 little stories. Cait and vi are taking on urgot who basically leads a cult like gang of people obsessed with augmenting their bodies with chemtech or hextech. He's originally from noxus but was imprisoned in piltover and wants to take over zaun. In Demacia there's a civil war going on between demacia and it's mages who are generally locked up or persecuted because magic is scary. Garen is fighting with Sylas, the lead mage revolutionary, the guy with the chains. Lux is the girl in white, she's garens sister and they're nobles. But she's also secretly a mage. At the end of the video she 'comes out' and reveals her magic to make a signal for Galio, who's a giant golem made out of demacia's magic absorbing stone (but also is kinda friends with lux). He can only come alive when there's magic around. Mostly it's a big moment for lux where she's hoping demacia will still accept her. Lastly there's the story of ezreal (blond guy) who's in an ancient tomb or vault. He's an untrained mage from piltover and an archeologist/adventurer. His glove is an ancient weapon from shurima for mages that makes it easier for him to use magic. As he's trying to do some grave robbing, a bunch of void creatures show up, which are deadly monsters from below. Kaisa shows up to help him, she's always looking to try to stop the spread of the void creatures. She's bonded to a symbiotic void creature herself, after she got lost in a void cavern at a young age.

I'm sure someone else has done this too, but here's a bit of details on the characters in Warriors. I'll split it by the scene: Castle Crashers (Demacian characters) - Big sword man: Garen. He's a commander of the Demacian Army and the son of a noble, if I remember correctly. “The Good Guy”ᵀᴹ. - Blond mage lady: Lux. She's Garen's sister and a mage, though she tries to keep her magic hidden because magic is illegal in Demacia. - Hot guy with the chains: Sylas. A mage who escaped from prison and now leads a rebellion in Demacia because of the unjust treatment of mages. His "signature ability" is mimicking his opponent's attacks or spells with his magic, hence the sword of light he created (it's identical to Garen's). - Giant winged statue: Galio. A gigantic golem made of a magic-absorbing stone called petricite. He serves as a protector for Demacia and is quite fond of the "superhero entrance". Tomb Raid (with the gem and such) - Tomb Raider: Ezriel. An adventurer from Piltover who happened upon an extremely powerful magic gauntlet while exploring a Shuriman Tomb. He's making a name for himself as an explorer in the hopes that his missing (and presumed dead) parents will find him if they ever return. - Purple Spandex Lady: Kai'Sa. She's a woman who accidentally entered a portal to the Void, a creepy purple dimension with creepy purple creatures like those little spider dudes in the cinematic. She ends up wearing the skin of a void creature to help her survive (it's a whole story), and that skin fused with her to make her purple suit and gives her the abilities you see in the cinematic. Piltover Punchout (You know who) - Vi: Vi - Caitlyn: Caitlyn, but with more hat - Goons: Goons - Giant Enemy Crab: Urgot (ur-GOT). A noxian executioner who was betrayed, imprisoned, and forced to mine deep in the Undercity. Now he's a chem-tech dreadnaught that leads a cult and controls some of the lower parts of Zaun.

Fun fact: The blonde from the Warriors animatic is named Luxanna Crownguard, referred to as Lux. She is secretly a mage (remember, magic is forbidden in most of the world) and she is actually shipped with none other than Jinx. Though the two have never met in the lore, you saw them together in the "You Really Got Me," video and in one alternate universe it showed them as close childhood friends. Because of this, they have the ship name Lightcannon (Light for Lux, Cannon for Jinx) Edit: One other thing to mention: I'm pretty sure that in the game when characters interact with each other there are different recorded lines that they say, which add to the theories surrounding them. Jinx is always pretty complimentary of Lux in her recorded lines ("Lux makes even boring beautiful" or something like that) which adds more fuel to the shipping fire.

Great to see Carlie & Ange being massive fans of Jinx, which has been my main champion since her release. As for Jinx being sad a lot of the time in Arcane makes perfect sense to transform her into the character we know today. Knowing that she is also powered with shimmer definitely takes an effect on her mental as well, which makes it easier for her to be reckless and happy. It is possible she is creating a lot of chaos to distract herself from her past and tries to fully embrace Jinx and not Powder. All in all there are multiple ways to analyze Jinx, which I find wonderful

The giant stone guy is Galio. He was originally a Gargoyle but I think he was later just changed to a Stone Guardian "Sentinel" of Damacia. He is essentially a statue but comes to life around Lux (the mage girl who summoned him) Magic if forbidden in Damacia so Lux always had to hide her powers. She could not always control it tho (Sylas, the chain guy, later showed her how) and had to remove herself from public view as light emerged from her body when her emotions were out of control. It made her feel like an outcast in her on home. There is a story where she wanders of into the woods cuz she cant keep her emotions together and stumbles across this giant statue. It comes alive, responding to her magic and expresses that her magic in particular a very unique and almost irresistibly compelling. She radiates this power unknowingly and Galio responds to her mere presence. This is how Galio awoke as a character and its also why Lux is the one to summon him in this video

Here to name all the characters (though I guess people have already done so, but one more comment yay xD) In Warriors we have: Garen - The big guy from the other animatics, crown guard of demacia. Lux - The blonde girl, Garens younger sister who is secretly a mage. Sylas - A demacian mage who was held captive (because demacians hate mages) and who became free by tricking Lux. Galio - The big statue showing up at the end, who can be called by demacians when they really need help, though he remains a statue most of the time. Vi - You know her of course, but the outfit she's rocking here is very much inspired by her ingame outfit. Cait - Same here. Urgot - The big crab guy. The chain he uses to pull Vi in is his ultimate in the game, though here it is an execute (meaning if an enemys health is low enough, he can just push a button to kill them) Ezreal - The blonde boy who grabs the crystal, which represents an item in the game called tear of the goddess. He is an adventurer. Kai'sa - The lady with the dark hair and the purple stuff, she has a lot to do with the void which I kinda don't want to spoil here, because it was heavily teased in arcane and is likely to be a thing in season 2. In Odyssey: Jinx - In a parallel universe. Yasuo - The fast captain guy, who is one of the top 3 most annoying characters in the game, like, I know he looks cool, but a good 80 % of the community hate him xD Malphite - The big blue guy, who is technically a rock, kind of. Kayn - The villain in this trailer, he has a demon in form of a sythe. Sona - The lady who made a little "gasp" at the end. She is a music based champion who is mute and mostly kinda communicates through her instrument and I think in this particular universe she is part of an order and has like an item or something that Kayn wants, it's been a while. You really got me: Jinx - technically again in a parallel universe since the league Jinx and the arcane Jinx are not really the same characters (though the entire community really wants them to be). Lux - Again, but towards the end she is actually using the same ability that she is using at the end of warriors, which is her ultimate (giant light laser). Yasuo - Again, this time without a skin. His story btw has a lot to do with his brother (you'll reach a cinematic regarding that sooner or later). Blithcrank - The big robot with the long arm, adorable guy who was in universe created by Victor actually and who was meant to dispose of waste in zaun, but he developed a mind of his own and does everything he can to help people in need, I hope he makes an appearance in Arcane. Teemo - The most annoying yordle of them all xD he uses mushrooms to poison people, and they turn invisible in the game and if he stands still for long enough he turns invisible too. Camille - Lady with the white hair and the fast run, she's got swords for legs and she plays a major role in everything piltover, so I am very very sure we are going to see her in arcane season 2. Ahri - The lovely fox spirit who wanted to turn human and is trying to become a better person sort of. Zed - Red sword-ninja guy, I actually don't know thaaaat much about him, but he harvests magic in "Xayah and Rakan: Wild Magic" and I believe he's got a lot to do with Akali. Malphite - Again, this time without a skin and an actual rock/mountain. Braum - Yeah you know him, the folk legend who uses a door as a shield

The Giant rock statue guy with wings that comes down at the end is Galio. He is a fun character, he is made out of a magic suppressing stone, he was built by demacia centuries ago to help in battles against mages because he would absorb (not just dampen) magic. He actually started to gain sentience over the centuries but was only awake when magic was near. Lux (the light girl) Had magic and would visit the statue which grew to know her as his little light because whenever she was near he would wake up just enough to feel her presence but not move. As she grew up and grew more powerful they became friends. There is a whole comic series online for Lux, Garen, and Sylas (the guy who made the magic sword) on the runeterra website. They have a lot of good stories on there, Graphic novels and comics

The Odyssey cinematic is a skinline, kinda like an alternate reality or multiverse counterpart. The funny thing about your selection of the videos is that all the three crew of the Morning Star are in the Wild Rift promotional video too. So it's Jinx, Yasuo (the white haired captain and then the ronin guy on You Got Me) and Malphite (the blue-colored brute and then the stone giant). On the other hand, the lady with the laser beam is Lux, Garen's younger sister. She is a mage which later became an exile/fugitive because Demacia, a strictly anti-magic nation is currently in a civil war against the oppressed mage population. Sylas, the one with the chains is one of the previous mage prisoners, who manipulated her into orchestrating a string of events that culminated in his liberation and rebellion. The robot-like thing that she summoned is Galio (another playable champ in-game that is a tank), a Demacian construct made from petricite, a material that absorbs magic and is commonly used against mages. Galio is mostly inanimate, since he's a statue anyway, but in the presence of a strong magic that he can absorb as much, the magic can power him into consciousness. Lux's light beacon served as a massive distress signal that spurred him into life, the robot landing that he had is actually his in-game ultimate, which portrays it as it is: a skill that can be used to teleport or fly into team mates during clashes to protect them. Also, a bit of a spoiler: Blitzcrank, the golden robot golem that you saw in You Got Me is actually a sentient robot made by none other than Viktor himself. Camille on the other hand, the lady with the blade legs is a Piltovan champ that acts like a member of Piltover's secret police. Lastly, Urgot afaik is not the same man you saw on Ekko's cinematic. He is a Noxian headsman that was betrayed and imprisoned in the deepest mines of Zaun. He went on to became a sort of an anarchist with a cult-like following (the ones rescuing him are his followers) hell-bent on destroying the chembarons and dominate Zaun via survival of the fittest. That drill that you saw that sucks into a grinder on his mechanical stomach is also his ultimate skill in-game: once you're hit by it and your hp went down to a certain percentage during the skill's duration, you will be guaranteed an insta-death as you will be sucked into the grinder, and will also cause your team mates to get briefly terrified (get a debuff called 'Fear', which makes them temporarily lose control as they panic). And yeah, Urgot can be OP mid-game, especially when he's fed and built as bruiser. Dude's got a machine-gun arm anyway. And his crab legs? Those aren't just regular, mechanical crab legs but shotgun legs instead. YES, AND THERE'S EIGHT OF THEM.

Demacian Lore Notes from Warriors Cinematic: The giant statue 'summoned' by the blonde girl, who is called Lux, is Galio. In Demacia, due to their anti-magic stance, they use a material called Petrichite, which is orginally shown to have magic nullification properties. They build houses, weapons and equipment from this material (plus 'medicine' to 'cure' or weaken mages). In reality, it actually absorbs magic. Galio, is an enormous petrichite statue. Typically it is brought to large fights/war fronts as a defensive tool redirecting spells from their soldiers and into the statue. When enough magic is absorbed the statue comes alive to protect its home and people. Lux, so far, is the only know mage able to activate Galio on her own. Remember, this statue is often brought to war, where many spells are being cast. Also, fun fact, during the cinematic from what we know of her lore, she has yet to even train or master her magic. From this we can assume that if Lux were to train/practice magic she would be immensly powerful.

I'm so happy you guys like Yasuo (the samurai fella). He's my favorite character in the lore. You'll learn about him eventually in other cinematics! As always, another banger upload, and really funny this time around. Very witty!

Okay so the first two in the warriors cinematic are Luxanna and Garden Crownguard they are siblings from the royal family ruling demacia they are facing Sylas one of the many mages that were imprisoned for years in demacia just for having magical powers. After spending 15 years in the Demacian prison he managed to escape after tricking Lux to help him. He's also the one who started and led the mage rebellion against Demacia so he's quite a big deal. The other scene takes place in a Piltovan prison (I believe?) Where Vi and Caitlin try to prevent Urgot from escaping with the help of his goons. The guy in Ekko's cinematic is just a random chembaron goon ,Urgot is a whole other deal, he was able to start a cult in the lowest levels of Zaun (tldr if you thought Silco was the big baddie wait until you see Urgot) The third scene takes place in some ancient shuriman temple where Ezreal (basically Indiana Jones minus the courage and skill) is picking up an artifact known as Tear of the goddess (an item in the actual game) in doing so he released an army of voidlings. Before Kaisa Shows up and saves him ,Kaisa spent almost her entire life in the void in extreme harsh conditions where her body adapted to it creating somewhat of a exo/parasitic suit around her body to help her survive, due to the fact she's more experienced in the void creatures she tells Ezreal to run while she handles them before Ezreal decides at last second to turn back and return her favour by saving her. The massive statue guy that appears at the end to help the Demacians is Galio ,a giant colossus created with petrecite a material with a powerful resistance against magic , usually Galio is just standing still in Demacia waiting to be activated so only few know he's actually alive
