Caitlin's skins are the best because she recently went through a Visual Rework, so they RE-MADE her skins altogether. That's why Jinx's skin line is a bit wackier than the others, she's the "older character". One other thing I love about the league lore is that each skin line has its own lore behind it. Take the "Resistance" skin line, Caitlin, Jayce, Singed, and some others have it, the background for them could literally have its own show IMO, a dark future of Piltover with glimpses of Terminator and Edge of Tomorrow vibes.

Signed and heimer have been in the game since 2009 and jinx came out in 2013. Jinx's are not only newer but heimer and signed skins are basically the same other than some base model splash updates lol. Jinx splash defiantly is dated but it's so obvious the others are even worse, plus jinx got given the FREE arcane skin which is new and updated but still looks very close to her original design

A fun fact I would like to add is that if u see Jinx's and Vi's backgrounds you'll see that it's the same one, but in the case of Jinx it is completely destroyed, showing sth about her personality and 'role' in Zaun and Piltover, whilst Vi's background seems to show like the entire buildings without even a scar, showing that she is there to protect and defend Piltover. Caitlyn famously uses cupcakes in her Yordle traps (players often mention "eating the cupcake" when stepping on her traps or "don't eat the cupcake" as a warning) - that's why the cupcakes that were shown early in episode 1 of Arcane are an easter egg. It also makes it an easter egg of sorts that Vi later calls Caitlyn "cupcake" as a nickname.

Just an FYI, jayce's ultimate is given to him at level 1, and all of his abilities have a ranged and melee form, if you watch the ability clips a little longer, you'll see the actual ability he used in arcane. That yellow shock field happened when he slammed his hammer on the bridge when getting charged!

They have hinted at Ekkos ultimate ability in his fight with Jinx as i understood it. Of course he did not use it - because he does not have his Z-Drive or whatever it is called at this moment. But they managed to find a creative artistic realistic way through the flashback to his childhold games with Powder to mimic the positive effect of his ultimate. The result was pretty much the same. He did something (in the past) that did not work out so he "resets himself/ turn back time" so to say and did it again. His ultimate can only set back a couple of seconds, but thats beside the point. ps. your fellow patreons or someone else probably mentioned this already - there are some skin sets like the one you saw with Ekko - the "SKT T1". They are named after a esports team that won the world trophy and the players decided which champion will get this skin. They had to play this champion at least ones during the final at worlds.

@@gigaacademia9313 No, this was just their artistic trick to make it mimic his ability. Let's say it like this. Game Ekko uses his ultimate and gets back a couple of seconds to do better with his next attack undo dmg, something like this. The Ekko in this show can't do that, because he has not his z-drive. But making him remember his past games with Jinx and knowing what his mistake was in the past, showing it to us, made it similar to his ult. You can see him use his watch to "rewind time" and than he starts fighting in the present and "wins". *edit* mhm would be interesting to check how long the kid version animation was - maybe the same length as his ultimate sets him back in time in the game.

Warwick has to be confirmed, the teaser they released to announce they're already in production for season 2 ends with a howl and the Blood Hunt music loop that plays when he's chasing someone. Why would they include that if he's not going to be in it? The gun Caitlyn uses throughout Arcane definitely isn't the same unless Riot retcons it's design. In Arcane, the rifle she uses folds to be more portable, but in the game and through most of her skins, the rifle she uses is telescoping to shorten/lengthen.

Please keep in mind that Arcane is an origin story - so we are way before the current splasharts. Caitlyn in Arcane is around 20 years old (and not Sheriff yet!) + she traded her gun (which is not hextech powered ) which means this is the perfect set up to finally give her the hextechrifle she actually uses in the game. As per canon lore she received the hextech rifle from her parents for her 21th birthday - which would fit perfectly. I think in Arcane Jayce will do the hextech stuff and her farther the design of the gun - sounds pretty solid and reasonable to me without defying the canon lore. Too bad you didn't see the background of the officer Caitlyn clearly on the left side (blurred there) - there you can see Vi in her officer skin as well - pretty hot thb! Next fact: The center of Caitlyn's traps has a cupcake at the center ^^ And confirmation on this end: The writers did confirm that Vi and Caitlyn will be at the center of S2. Well, that sound plausible as Vi must decide where she wants to belong and Caitlyn need to become the sheriff. As for the release of S2 - I am pretty confident that S2 will be released in fall 2023. The CEO of Riot announced in an open letter that we will get S2 + "?" seasons in the next 5 years. So this means we will go up at least to S3 - If you take 2 years inbetween which is reasonable for every season in terms of production and promotion , then S2 must be released in 2023 and S3 in 2025. If we are lucky, they get even faster and we get more season but for the time being I stick to this schedule. Why am I confident it won't be released in spring or summer 2023 ? Because of the world championship. They wanted to do a massive Arcane related opening ceremony which was busted in 2021 by corona (again) and these plans should not go to waste, so they will (and I hope they) try again with the next season - at least that's my guess and the making of "The show open 2021" shows that they had amazing original plans. I really want to see that. And that is only reasonable if the release the S2 around the same time as in 2021 (Nov) ^^

3:45 Jinx’s pistol in the game is called Zapper, her mini gun is called Powpow, her rocket launcher is called Fishbones and the flame chompers are basically her three grenades that blow up whenever any champion steps on it. Basically her main move in the game switchero allows her to switch between powpow to Fishbones and her ultimate is super mega death rocket. Which she launches with Fishbones and the more further her rocket travels the faster it gets. So more destructive. Also her star guardian skin is the best in the game because of the effects and stuff. But I do love the original Jinx.

15:52 those SKT skins are skins made for some of the teams who were in the Worlds championships and such, I think it is is just the winners that got the lines made to honor their teams, and the entire makeup of their team is given skins, so the 5 SKT skins were the team they played in the finals (Ekko, Nami I know, and I think the other are Jarvan, Syndra, and Varus) if I am not mistaken on how those work. Likewise on the SSW skins

The projects is this alternative idea in each the champions kinda donated their bodies to science in the promise of enhancements. Some was captured others did because they wanted, but all kinda loose their humanity and therefore became machines to kill. It's not really explored, it's just a scenario and justification for the skins. The skins look sick thou... some of the favorites.

The skins that are SKT T1, SSW, FNATIC, etc are all worlds skins. These are skins given to professional teams for winning world's that year. Chompers are the little snappy grenades that Jinx creates. She kicks one off into the abyss in her hideout in one scene, and tosses some at some of the Firelights the first time we see grown up Jinx fight them on the boat. She also attaches some to the unfortunate fellas in the hold of the ship before coming up to the ship deck to make her entrance. In game she tosses out three of them, and if you step on one, you get damaged and rooted for a brief moment. Powder finds a snappy jaw when she is digging in the trash when Vander and Claggor go off to meet Benzo. That is a bit of fan service to League fans who recognized the little snappy jaw as part of a Chomper.. or at least in the future it would likely become one, when she was all grown up.

In addition to the prize money, the winning team's player gets to pick a champion(that they played during the tournie) and Riot makes them a skin, and the player/team gets a portion(maybe all?) of the money from sales.

Caitlyn's weapon in Arcane was either an enforcer's weapon or the rifle she used during the shooting tournament (which would make it her own custom weapon). My guess is on the latter.

Project Skins are by far one of the most popular, if not the most popular skin lines in League of Legends. I think there's like 17 champions currently that have received them, and I'm sure many more will receive them in the future. Also 15:53 that is a skin designed for the world champion team SKT T1. Each year each player on the world championship team get to pick a champion they want a skin made for them. The only limitation is that they must have played that champion during the world final series. The design uses the color themes and sometimes logos themselves of that team. They'll also in some cases make the skin have features of the players. (Example, when Imp won in 2014, his SSW Twitch skin was given his iconic circular eyeglasses)

@@LVOskarliNE that is the plan! they began remake all the lore as part of a new guideline in 2015~16, the same guidelines that decided the creation of arcane. actually if you look closely the ingame/website zaun and piltover lore and timeline is severely incompatible with the already actualized parts and new champions from the region (Glask and zery as example). i belive that will be atualized as the seasons of arcane release. as example the visual update to caitlyn prety much put her in line with arcane canon.(i cant wait to see the Arcane Vicktor skin)

League of legends have not updated the skins on their website yet. Their battle line - which also has battle cat Jinx, and also the eclipse and high noon skin lines are not out yet on the website but they are in the game. Also there are skins on Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra that are not in League of Legends. In fact, I have Wild Rift on my phone so that I can look at skins. I also think you will like some of the cards and animation on the Legends of Runeterra, especially their gilded line which is for the arcane champions, and the adventure - However, Legends of Runeterra has already included Viktor in the game.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason the website doesn't show all the skins. In particular, it doesn't show the new Arcane skins for Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn and Ekko.

Sandstorm Ekko is a reference to Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, since the main character in the Sands of Time Trilogy also has the ability to rewind time for a few seconds and „shatter time“ to move faster than his enemies

Universe page hasn't been updated for years now TBH (since 2020ish I guess?), and it's kinda outdated - some newer skins aren't on the universe page anymore. I'd recommend checking out the wikia fandom when it comes to skin, and use Universe only for interactive map, stories and concept arts etc. I think they've moved most of their staff for Universe into the MMORPG they're making to world building effort or something.

The SKT skin that you saw in Ekko... this is a sick one idea. When a team wins the world's championship they got to choose one champ (normally their main champ in that season) to get a skin with the team thematics. Since SKT won 3 times the worlds (with Faker as their captain, that dude with glasses that keeps poping in every championship's video) the team haves 3 sets of champions (with 6 champions each, one for each player) with the SKT theme. The Ekko, for exemplo, is from Duke, the Top laner from SKT in the winning at 2017.

There's some missing skins from the League site but if you wanna see some of the skins you've missed, you could look at them at the Wiki/fandom site and see all the Wild Rift exclusive skins as well as the rare and limited skins that you don't see sometimes on the League pages. They have the Arcane skins for Vi, Caitlyn and Jinx as well.

you probably already know but the website doesn't actually show all the skins available in the game compared to the in game client, just to name a few missing skins zombie slayer jinx, pulsefire caitlyn, beekeeper singed, etc.

Ekko is around middle of the pack in terms of power now but he has definatly been top tier in the past. both as an ability power (magic dmg) dealing assasin and as a crown control tank by building items that gives him hp and resistances aswell as lower the cooldown (CD) of hes abilitys. Playing him as a tank was disgustingly strong back then with hes stun and movement slowing effects.

the headhunter series is based on AVP there are a few hunters who it applies to ^.^ Rengar (my favorite champion) is the Predator of the universe, and is at war with another character, they used to even ahve a special evolution when they fought each other.

There are some skins that are missing on the site for some reason. Definitely look them up in the game or the wikipedia. They made a few Arcane skins for Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn and Jayce which I think you will love. Also Caitlyn's unique hextech rifle was a gift from her parents for her 21st birthday. But that's the league lore. If her mother dies in Arcane from the Jinx explosion, things might change. But we definitely haven't seen that rifle in Arcane yet because she sold the one she was given in Zaun.

You guys are so funny. I look forward to the League videos every week. Something about the LoL website though, for some reason it doesn't display ALL of the Champion skins. If you do not click on them individually, it automatically scrolls through after a few seconds. So there are actually some other skins you didn't get to see. Let it scroll through first if you want to catch them next time. They need to fix the website haha.
