It is an eye opener when one sees how much time they spend training, and how many different training techniques they employ. Their entire life is revolving around training and tennis. Carlos Alcaraz is an extraordinary player, his state of mind is just impressive. Since his arrival on the professional tennis scene, I find that he has revolutionized this sport in all areas, that's what makes him so special. he feels tennis very well like no one else, he brings an undeniable freshness to this sport. I wish him an insolent success because he has tratospheric tennis qualities. Watching Carlos Alcaraz is like watching a world championship boxing match.

Very interesting squat machine!! He is one of the fittest tennis player ever, together with Djokovic. His leg speed is beyond all other. So from that he gets advantage towatds all other top players. But in tennis the mental toughness together with resimience makes the difference on top. He is tough enpugh, althoug have lost too some matches lately. If avoid bad injuries, his time on top lasts long time, even decades.

Alcaraz AKA The Kid, is so popular now; big Nike contract, The Big Tennis Racquet endorsement, Federer's Watch Company is looking to Carlito as his heir apparent. Imagine that. The Heir apparent with all those magical shots that outdo even Nadal. That impossible smile and impeccable lifestyle. That boyish demeanor and love of the game. After all those years and wondering where the game is going, we get the second coming. And it is in this child they call Carlos Alcaraz. Some of them crowd roars are louder than they ever were for Nadal and Fed because the crowds love the Kid, maybe not as much as Fed and Nadal, but it is headed that way fast. Guess what? The crowd is jumping on that bandwagon and fast, that is the Alcaraz Train. They will enjoy every Slam and tennis moment from here on out and when it all ends they won't care how many slams he has because in their eyes he will be their man. The great player once known as the Kid. We love tennis again. Fed, Nadal, Djokovic be damned. We got ourselves The Kid, to root for and enjoy for the next 18,20, maybe 24 years. It is like when Lebron came along and many of us did not care for Michael Jordan. Now we can make a case for Lebron as GOAT, albeit not a convincing one, but a legitimate case nonetheless. And anyway, my GOAT will always be Julius Erving in basketball, Bobby Orr in hockey (Sorry Gretz or Lemieux), Roberto Duran in Boxing, and Chrissie in Women's tennis. What the hell you can throw in Peter O'Toole in acting. My GOAT in football is Patrick Mahomes, who by the way with 2 super bowls has far less than Tom Brady's 7. Sports has showed us we all have our own GOATs. There is a place for the mostest or the highest or the biggest. But we acknowledge those, give credit for them in Espy awards and the like, toss that aside then look back at our favorites on youtube, or online somewhere, maybe with friends and family over a few cold ones. We can do that nowadays. We cherish and marvel at the big shots, last second heroics and the guts and grit of our guys. The Kid: That impossible smile. That stiff, impeccable, implacable half gait-half swagger. That short crop child-like haircut. All that fun he has on that Tennis Court. Those lobs and drop shot and gets. Nobody is as fun to watch as the Kid. It does not matter come Sunday whether he wins or loses. My guess is he comes out and wins a solid first game 6-4, beats Djoker in a tie break in the second, then wins an uneventful 3rd: 6-3. He may get bageled, or win or lose a tight 5 setter. It doesn't matter. He was tied in Roland Garros before the cramps. He is at, or better than the Big Three's level. There is the future and reams of trophies and silver to be had. That is all there for the taking. There is nobody to play. Tsitsipas is not interested in improving. Ditto Berretini. Medvedev is content where he is at. That is evident in that gawd-awful volley he tried against you. Nothing's improved in Med's game. He may already be on a decline. Kyrgios is so screwed in the head he does not want a single slam in his singles Career. ditto Shapovalov and Raonic: The Canadians who refuse to win. Rune, Ruud, everyone else are light years behind and all indicators are that is where they will stay, judging by what every player has done in the last 40 years other than the Big Three. Now there is only Djoker to play for 3 years, maybe 4, maybe five. My fears: All that power in the forehand. How long will the shoulders, elbow and wrists hold up? Same for the torque and power in the legs. What of the hips, knees and calves? Nobody can move like you Kid. Not even Nadal. My final thought: I think Alcaraz was dead even with Novak in Roland Garros. I think he may well be best on a grass surface. Look at what he did to Tsitsipas, Berretini and Rune. He has improved a lot. If not training or talking strategy. He is studying tennis. 14,15, 16 hours a day, everyday. That's passion. But, one more thought: After all that has been said and done is anybody out there watching and wondering as the crowds move from loving Federer and Nadal to Carlos? I suspect the crowd will have something to say in Sundays outcome Reply

@@ProPlayerTrainingZone You know I wrote that Saturday cuz everyone was picking Djoker in 5. I remembered the French and thought Alcaraz was gaining an edge before the cramps came. He'd beat Novak and Nadal back to back before that. He is just a slow starter possibly. Others have given him trouble early or he needs time to get into it. But he has won a lot in straight sets. @@GirgitKlopp_ in this case i can say , during intense training periods, tennis players often have high energy expenditure due to the physical demands of the sport. Therefore, it is important for them to consume enough calories to support their training, maintain adequate energy levels, and promote recovery. Insufficient calorie intake can lead to fatigue, reduced performance, and impaired recovery.

He has all the qualities to be like Federer, who I personally feel is the most naturally talented tennis pro of all time. Ofcourse, he can even try and better him. Sometimes, I felt Federer was too casual in his play believing in his natural talent while handling the likes of Nadal and Djokovic and sometimes could not handle when put under sustained defensive pressure by these two. Alcaraz looks far more serious to complement his natural talent further.
