Only reason it was close was because alcaraz fell off the stairs in the Barcelona club just 10 mins before this match. Watch 2023 Barcelona open interview he says that it was very difficult for him to play this match . I'm not making excuses on behalf of alcaraz . This is just what alcaraz said . And he has no reason to fabricate this story especially a year after the match happened.
