Man, as an Oakland Athletics fan I had a very healthy respect and admiration for this Houston Astros team, especially the tiny dynamo Jose Altuve. Now I want the entire team banned for life, title vacated and the organization crippled beyond recognition. What am absolutely disgusting scandal. The A's deserved to win their division 2 years in a row with 97 win seasons but were relegated to the dangerous one game wild card.

1985...1994...2003...baseball seems to be going in the direction of these years again. Just the thought of that makes me think the sport is dying again. Of course we don’t have all the details, but there has to be something done to give the fans confidence that the league has some integrity. The real problem is we’ve never seen this from the league. The cocaine trials never ended anyone’s career...with the exception of the Pirate Parrot. 1994 didn’t have a champion because of the worst possible time for a lockout, and ruined baseball in Montreal. The steroids never ended a career, and the records still stand. Fans are tired of there being a perception of no integrity and no sense of justice in the sport. Change must come.

Astros owner needs to suspend/fire players who cheated...he can start with Altuve. If firing the head coach and GM was the right thing to do, then suspending Altuve is the right thing to do too. Clayton Kershaw is great but he's not as good as Cole. Dodgers don't deserve anything because the Yankees would have thumped them had that been the proper matchup.

As a 50 year Astros fan I would hope all Houston fans reject the 2017 Astros championship. We do not want it that way. They should release every player and coach off that team and start over from scratch.
