Why, oh why, would Ferrari want to get rid of one of the most amicable drivers on the grid and replace them with Lewis Hamilton? He may even be faster than Sainz yet still cost them a championship or possibly two. The ability to get along with your teammate is always overlooked and yet so vital to team cohesion, particularly when a WDC is up for grabs.

Sainz does NOT get along well with teammates on track. Thats precisely the reason he got fired. He doesnt put up with team orders. He is a leader and should go to a team where he is the faster driver and can lead the team. Thats why Audi is perfect for him.

@@PKWeaver74 Every driver is self centered to begin with. But whenever ferrari signs a driver, they make it very clear that they would not be driving for themselves but the team. Charles got that memo, carlos did not. I'm sure that is also communicated with lewis. If lewis doesnt obey that, he would be kicked out pretty soon as well. And to be fair, current lewis is far from his self centered self during his prime anyways. He helps his team by constantly experimenting with setups, he suggested to his team that he should let george by in a recent race etc. All he needs to do more is stop complaining about the car when he gets to ferrari. Because that wont be tolerated there. He will have to learn from charles in that respect.
