The pieces that comprise "En su hablar de oído" are closely inspired by the metrics of José Miguel Perera's poetry.
Perera's poetic richness, full of alliterations and phonetic games, as well as the use of a rhythm that is at times retained, stuck and at times fluid, influences the technical writing of these miniatures, resulting in sonorous aphorisms of a wide timbral richness which become demanding for the performer, as does the reading of the poet's poetry.
