Ultimately it's a matter if Carlos believes he took stuff from other people. I think he absorbed different bits for whatever reason and tweaked them slightly. I do think he made way more enemies than friends. Now he has to live with that reality. His type of comedy is racially charged and full of observational humor. I enjoy his stuff but I don't think society will let him make a grand comeback. I would love for him to make videos publishing his documented records he's kept. Just to see if that is valid. About 20 years ago I saw Carlos perform at the comedy improv in Miami. I was a huge fan. After the show I approached him and I told him a joke which he really liked. His manager was standing next to him and was cracking up at my joke. This was a saturday show. The following Monday I bumped into a friend and I told him my joke. He told me, “you got that joke from Carlos Mencia”. I was so excited he used my joke the following night.

I noticed that too. He needs to acknowledge what Carlos has done for him (and he did help him a lot) but also Ned stole peoples jokes and screwed over many comedians, and that’s the truth and Bobby knows it. So this is him acknowledging what these comedians have been through, and letting them tell their stories.
